A: The beer is hazy yellowish amber in color and has lots of yeast particles floating in suspension along with a light amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that died down but has good retention properties and consistently left a thick layer of bubbles covering the surface.
S: Light aromas of yeast are present in the nose along with some hints of sweet malts and fruits. Apples begin to stand out as the beer warms up.
T: Similar to the smell, the overall taste is very much dominated by the flavors of the clumpy yeast. Notes of apples and other fruits are also present as well as bits of malty sweetness.
M: It feels medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: I don't think I've ever had a tripel with this amount of yeast in it before, I but I like the flavors that clumpy yeast imparts so I enjoyed this beer. It reminded me a lot like a Belgian Strong Dark Ale that had been laid down for a few years, but without as much complexity in the form of malts and dark fruits. This beer is quite drinkable because it manages to hide its alcohol very well.

Enjoyed from a big bomber, this one is labeled as a tripel, yet is 8.8 percent. Same label minus
the 8.8 moniker above the horns. Website examination seems to confirm it is the import
label.

Pours a hazy peach colored amber with frothy white head that lingers to a thin layer of lightly
off white foam. Fantastic nose of peach, Belgian style malts, caramel, and light herbal hops.
Flavor is complex with subtleties. A light peach flavor, pear, apple, and sweet malt hits you
up front, with a light bittering hop to the rear with a delicate sour note. Most excellent
mouthfeel, lightly dry yet crisp at the same time. Lightly carbonated. Very nice subtle
triple strong ale from France.

Cheers

A: clear amber colour, small but stable head

S: caramel, grassy malts, some dark forest fruits

T: peaches, some hops, a bit biscuity, actually pretty nice

M: rather thin, not a lot of carbonation, which would normally bother me, but not with this one

O: rather good beer, I quite like it. some nice and pleasant complexity, and rather crisp
