A: Golden blonde, hazy, thin to little head, slight lacing in the middle. Not much apparent carbonation.
S: Light, crisp, ginger, slight citrus notes. Orange, mainly.
T: Same as the smell, with some honey. A little medicinal, but not in a bad way. Reminds me of Terrapin Reunion Ale from 2012.
M: Solid, slight carbonation.
O: Funky (not in a Cantillon style, but more in a 60's disco style), and different from a lot of beer I've had. Not something I'd drink a lot of, but a very enjoyable change of pace, especially when it's left in your fridge after a party, like this six pack was.

On tap at the brewery.
A fine looking beer, this sparkling golden ale has a lasting head. This variant on a Belgian witbier is notable for the addition of a substantial amount of ginger. This makes for a fine aroma, but there's too much ginger in the flavor, masking much of the more subtle grain and yeast elements.

Mouthfeel: medium-light body; very good carbonation.

O: nearly a cross between a ginger beer and a witbier.

I think this is a really refreshing beer, but it's not for everyone. The ginger can be overpowering, but if you like ginger, you'll like this beer. It's an interesting combo.

This beer is really great for sushi fanatics. The ginger cleanses your palate in between pieces. I just wish my local sushi joint served this instead of Sapporo.

A: Nice golden, slightly cloudy color. Great head. Little to no lacing.

S: ginger, ginger, ginger. Some slight Belgian yeast scents, however, they only come through as it warms and the ginger just slaps it around.

T: spicy ginger flavor. This is a beer that is a one trick pony, and that is ginger. It is a borderline ginger beer. I rated it highly though as it is such an awesome flavor in this style.

M: Carbonated well and spicy. Flavor comes and goes but the ginger just linger forever.

O: I went back and read the bottle after drinking and they did use ginger in the beer. It is dominate in the scent and flavor so if you don't dig ginger, stay far away. If you do, this beer is for you. Whatever your tastes are, this is a highly refreshing beer and great for a hot summer day.
