Poured from a 12 oz brown bottle into a clear glass tulip. No freshness date. Received from good friend Erinn from ATL.

A: Honey-gold with 1-finger of white, frothy head with decent retention but no lacing. (3.75)

S: Extraordinarily high ginger which masks most of the other wit type of aromas. A little bit of pilsner malt pokees through but not much else other than strong ginger. (2.0)

T: The flavor is also nearly all ginger with a little bit of pale pilsner malt and some faint bubble gum yeast esters. (2.5)

M: Pretty crisp and dry, this is the best feature of this beer. Medium carbonation with light body. (3.5)

O: Not a fan of highly spiced beer so maybe I am not beeing entirely fair but this one missed for me. If you like ginger, definitely you should go for this beer.

Similar to a lot in this style but like the hint of ginger in the end. Decent American Belgian Wit.

Holy...wow...been a while. Ehem...yeah, sorry. College and work and stuff...

Funny story--So, we had a few sample beers left over from companies who wanted to have their stuff on tap here at the Wing, so what else are we supposed to do but drink 'em? This here's a Belgian witbier named Fu Man Brew...huh, I'll give 'em points for creativity. Bottoms up!
Poured into a standard US Pint
A- Deep golden yellow with about a 1/4-1/3 inch head. Clear as day with a few bubbles rising up. Easily an inviting appearance. 4/5
S- Right away you get the citrus and ginger notes. Really nice, pure smell from a witbier I've come to expect. 4.25/5
T- Went down clean. You get a good bit of spices up front, and a nice refreshing ginger note as it goes down your throat. Easily go back for more. 4.5/5
M- No bad aftertaste on this one. After everything settles, you get the ginger and citrus notes they used stuck on your taste buds. Good stuff! 4/5
O- Maybe because it was colder I feel a bit stunned by how well put together this one is (It was put in our beer cooler for a good bit before I had it.) but I think this one's a keeper! 4.25/5
Verdict: Wow...I'm real surprised we don't have this one on tap here. Otherwise, this would replace Yuengling as my go to after-shift treat. Definitely recommend this one to people who like stuff like Blue Moon or Shock Top. Especially those who live in the Atlanta area. A great pickup!
