A - Very dark coloring here... almost pitch black. Almost motor oil with a light beige head. The head thins out to almost nothing, not a big retention.
S - Big malt backbone here, with notes of coffee and peanut butter. Very interesting! Hint of raspberry at the finish. Malt heavy, you almost have to look for the fruit. There's a lot going on...
T - Here's where the raspberry makes a big presence. Great balance with the malt and fruit, with the malt as a strong foundation.
M - Medium to heavy body - heavy boozy feel which tends to linger.
O - As a fan of Jack's Abby, this sit pretty well. Surprisingly balanced blend here, very complex flavors bouncing off each other. Very well done. Without the power of suggestion, you could still pick up PB&J here.

On tap at the Tap and Mallet in Rochester, NY.
Pours out a dark brown, almost black, with a quarter inch head, and a little bit of lacing.
Smells like peanuts, roasted malt, chocolate, and a little bit of dark fruits.
I didn't get the raspberries as strong as other people did with this one, but it's there. Much more roasty and authentic peanut butter here, just a great flavor. The typical rich chocolate flavor of BA Framinghammer, plus a small amount of smoky bourbon and vanilla.
Medium bodied, very low carbonation, very drinkable. Creamy, smooth mouthfeel.
I wish the raspberries came through a bit stronger, but the peanut butter flavor is very strong, real-tasting, and awesome.
