A-Pours brown with not much head.
S-Soft tartness with sweetness to match. Noticeable cherries with a light barrel influence.
T-The cherry almost comes off as artificial to me. It's not like cherry cough syrup or anything but it just seems slightly fake. Reasonably tart. A good amount of caramel sweetness and a soft oakiness.
M-Light to medium bodied. Lingering aftertaste. Medium carbonation.
O-A bit underwhelmed by this one but that's only because I have high expectations from anything Jack's Abby. It's decent for sure but it had a lot more potential.

A unique find at a tap take over. Light carbonation and a brown dark orange color. Mouthfeel is light, but full for its style. The cherry is nice and not lambic tart but it there. More malt then expected but not overpowering.
Overall a beer would order again and reminds me of cantillon with more malt backbone. Good job!

Poured out into a Hill wine glass. Murkey, reddish brown, dark with zero head. Smells like dark fruit skin, a bit of oak,, some vanilla and that sour beer acid alcohol. Tart up front that doesn't linger at all. Some sweetness, but on the dry side. Bourbon barrel not really detectable, but I think it aided in toning down the overall bite and rounding out the flavors. Basically a flanders red with cherries. Kind of reminded me of Cherry Oud Bruin from Kuhnhenn.
