This hoppy lager is brewed with two intense and aromatic hops, Calypso and Citra. It’s an easy drinking brew that balances dominating fruity, citrusy, and tropical aromas with a sessionable malt body.

From the can, it pours a light hazy golden color with a modest head. Some citrus hops in the nose, followed by a light grapefruit flavor and bread in the mouth. Nice.

Lots of flavor compared to most session ales!

Decanted from a 12 oz (355 ml) can into a conical pint glass; no production information.
A: Pours a hazy dark golden color with a half inch, foamy white head, low retention, and moderately ringed lacing.
S: Fruity aromas of peach, mango, and lemon citrus, with pine and cracker notes evident.
T: Tastes of cracker with a lighter citrus component than I expected. Very light, nicely balanced bitterness.
M: Light to medium bodied with medium carbonation. Crisp finish.
O: An interesting and enjoyable meeting of American Pale Lager and IPA with a session flair. What's not to like.

12 oz. Can poured into s small dimpled Stein.
A very slight, humid haze in the pale, white golden color. A high rising white, bubbly and foamy cap leaves a bit of clumpy lacing as it recedes to just a few scattered clumps of foam.
The aroma is heavy on earthy, pine and spicy hops. A fundamentally sound, grainy malted barley aroma is easily detected within. Musky, herbal, grainy with a nice hit of the aromatics from the Calypso and Citra hops.
Honestly, the balance of flavor's is what impresses me most after the first swigg. A very bold, grainy and rich malted barley flavor pops right out, showing off its Lager heritage. The hop combo comes over as pretty light, earthy and very herbal with maybe a very subtle hint of pine and citrus tones.
The body is light to start, medium in the middle with a decent malty effect. The finish is slightly dry with a malty ending. Light on the flavor, but the cones actually blend in with the malty flavors very well indeed.
A light IPL with goid malt charecter and subtle, but effective hops. Sessionable for sure...perhaps IPL light sums it up.
