Poured from 16.9 bottle into Great Divide Yeti tulip. Have had a few of these in recent days, but never reviewed. Excited to really think about it.
A: Hazy orange-ish yellow with a half finger white head with a semi-aggressive pour. Would love to see this unfiltered, but I'm sure it doesn't really matter.
S: Tons of tropical hops, but it's not overwhelming by any means. Very well-balanced in aroma with mango and pineapple with a faint light malt backbone showing itself. Great smell.
T: Even more of the same from the nose. More balance with the hops making their presence known. There's a reason I keep coming back to this beer and brewery.
M: Very smooth and drinkable. There is no way this is 8.5%, right? Standing up after a few might remind you.
O: This is just another great hoppy beer from Jack's Abby. Glad to have gotten my hands on a few bottles, and hoping to make it to the brewery in the near future in hopes they still have it there. If not, I'll settle for Hoponius Union with no tears shed.
