Nice stout. Very dark pour. Earthy nose. Taste is malt upfront with roasted nuts, caramel and brown sugar notes, slght hops come thru in the end.

Had On-Tap at House of 1000 Beers Jan 10th 2014

A - Black brown with two fingers of creamy tan head, little lacing
S - Dark chocolates, nice roasted coffee bean, a little nutty
T - Lovely roasted malt and coffee flavors, smokey hints
M - A burnt kinda bitterness, but still creamy
O - Very solid stout.

Great English stout. Subtle hints of coffee, balanced nicely with roasted barely. Helltown makes some nice stuff. I'd recommend checking them out if you havent. This beer is similar to a breakfast stout, but without a super high ABV. Overall a nice drinkable stout!!! It's not mind blowing, but definitely meets the expectations.
