The color is copper. Extreme head sits on top of it. Very effervescent. Tenacious head too. Aroma is fruity with malts and some sugar notes. Tastewise, it's dull. Fruity. This doesn't even taste like an IPA. It's too effervescent to be good for the mouthfeel.

An ordinary beer in bottle. Review is based on the bottled version.

I've tasted it on tap, and its better... On tap, its more average than mediocre as the bottle version is.

Quite an effervescent beer, with an overwhelming head, even if poured gently in a cold wet vessel. It has an intense alcohol flavor (6%), followed by roasted malt and a hint of hoppiness. Pleasant at best, but not remarkable. For a beer described as an India Pale Ale/Strong Beer, I felt it was a bit too sweet and not bitter enough to my taste. Would actually go well with a beef/pork meal.

Pours extremely "effervescent" (nicely way of saying 'violent explosion'). Slightly cloudy red-amber with an intense, airy off-white head that takes its time settling down. Great (almost too great) retention; and nice, ample, stringy lacing.

Bready with a malty character on the whole. Yeast, cereals, some semblance of hops, but mainly smells like dough.

Water that sat in a rusty pot for too long with a couple hops. Really hard to taste any hops at all, lots of gross burnt malt taste though. Aspirin at the end. Made me cringe.

Really light and really 'meh.' Dry and insanely carbonated (way too much so). Like drinking beer-flavored Alka-Seltzer.

Really bad. Not much that I can say beyond that. It serves 'em right for naming it after Benedict Arnold, I suppose. Most of the people I have met here are fascinated by Americans' hatred for him since a lot of people know about him since he ventured into Quebec. Well, if this beer doesn't make them come around to disliking the bastard, nothing will.
Would not get again. Don't even bother.
