A - Pours a clear golden colour, finger of head with little retention and no lacing.

S - Musty grains, burnt sugar and caramel, hint of burnt malt and coffee.

T - Flavour is mild, but the sweet caramel and hints of roasted coffee are coming through alongside a hint of alcohol sweetness, grainy malts and toasted cracker notes.

M - A tad thin but still smooth and wet.

O - A reasonably tasty euro strong lager, flavour is mild, but at 7% this stuff is surprisingly drinkable. Probably wouldn't buy it again but I wouldn't turn one down if offered.

Bottle: nice brown 500mL bottle, a pretty rubbish Euro label but it's fine I suppose.

Appearance: standard mid-amber in colour with a thin head that dissipates quickly, no lacing.

Aroma: some light caramel without much else.

Taste: a strong, sugary sweetness with some bitterness backing up. Not brilliant, but refreshing none the less.

Aftertaste: some more bitterness comes through on the finish, with the caramel along for the ride but thankfully a bit more limited. Some warming alcohol also.

Mouth feel: light to moderate in body with a fair old dose of carbonation to carry initially the awkward caramel flavour, but then the smoother bitterness.

Overall: hmm... I think the bottle says it best "Strong Beer - Unique Taste". Very interesting, and no alcohol whack for being 7%. I think worth another go, specifically as it is far cheaper than most beers of this ABV - it is a reasonable, higher ABV refreshing ale. Not great, but good for the last week before pay day.

Pours a brownish-gold color with a fluffy but quickly-dissipating white head. Aroma was heavy malt with dark fruit. Taste is malt, dark fruit, with honey and vanilla. Hops barely detectable, though there was a slight, crisp finish. Smooth creamy palate. Nothing spectacular, but I liked the flavor and alcohol warmth in this on a cool fall day.

Poured at a good temperature with a large, foamy, off-white head that soon settled down to a scummy islandand ring. Color is a clear medium honey amber with a lot of large bubble trails. Aroma is coincidently of malt, honey, hop. Flavor is mainly two parts: sweet and carbonic tang with a little bitter in back. If it weren't for the pronounced carbonation, it would be about undrinkable. Even so.... Body is ok, while carbonation seems forced. Finish is like flavor, has significant alcohol warmth, and is totally forgettable. A fairly shallow brew. Not for repetition.

Okay, look... this beer is reviewed in the context of "what can I buy that's relatively cheap, has a high ABV and won't taste awful". And in that role, it's terrific. This beer won't hold a candle to Chimay or KBS or any of those fancy beers. But it's a good beer in the cheap lager arena, really not bitter or alcohol-y at all, and the 7% and big can means you can get hammered fast. Bonus!

So for those days when you're watching football or whatever and want to get buzzed, forget Bud or Yuengling and pick up a few 4-packs of this stuff. Well worth it.

Returning home from the gym, I don't know what to drink for the night. Hispanic grocery store, discount cart, $1 Warka Strong. Jackpot.

16.9-oz bottle served to tulip. Best by 8/10/2013. Consumed 7/30/2013.

A: This pours a dark honey, amber color, with a ton of rising carbonation. Unlike earlier reviewers, I got a large, off white head. The head took a while to recede, left a small cap of foam.

S: The aroma improves with time. Very sweet caramel, malted grains. Vigorous swirl yields a very pleasing honey aroma.

T: This one's better cold. In fact, the taste's the best part right out of the bottle. Very sweet grains, fruit. Very slight burn or bitterness at the tip of the tongue, either from the hops or the 7% alcohol.

M: Moderate carbonation, syrupy, but very drinkable

I'd drink this again.

A: The beer is clear deep yellow in color and has a light to moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a half finger high dense off white head that died down rather quickly but left a thin head covering the surface and some lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Light aromas of sweet malts are present in the nose.
T: The overall taste is a little sweet and malty with faint hints of caramel.
M: It feels medium-bodied and a little smooth on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation. The beer itself feels a little thick and coats your mouth to some degree.
O: This is a really easy beer to drink and hides its alcohol very well. I liked the maltiness and thicker mouthfeel compared to other malt liquors, especially the American varieties.
