A: Very light gold in color, a little darker than a Pilsner, but still very clear. Very white head that quickly recedes.
S: Aren't any overpowering aromas. There are some faint floral scents backed by the scent of a bready malt.
T: Taste is very crisp and refreshing. There is a bit of tartness/sourness and hints of lemon are apparent. Without the added complexity that the lemon offers this would be a very boring, but smooth beer. With the lemon, it is an extremely refreshing summer beer that has just enough flavor to keep you intrigued while not being too heavy or high in the abv department at 5.0%.
M: In my opinion, the most attractive part of this beer is its mouth feel. It first hits the mouth with an extremely smooth texture, and as it lingers it starts to develop a stronger and stronger acidity due to the carbonation combined with the acidic characteristics of a lemon. Once swallowed this acidity quickly fades away intro a nice refreshing sensation.
There is nothing overpowering about this beer, but I believe that is exactly what Steel Toe was going for with this release. It's a beer you can just kick back with after a day out in the hot sun and just enjoy summer. Cheers!

22oz bottle with no date
look is pale gold with orange highlights. bonus points for being unfiltered, smells corny. creamy with perfect carbonation, but the flavor disappears sometimes. subdued lemon hops, grain, sweet bread, bitter effervescent finish. more sweet bread comes out as it warms.
too expensive to be a favorite
