Awesome stout, had it on nitro.
Really heavy coco flavors, not to malty. I could drink this beer all night long and that's dangerous.
I've fished Mad River for steelhead coming up on 10 years now, always hoped to have a place to grab a beer and some food after a long day on the river. Now there's a perfect place =p

I had this beer on-tap in a pint glass at the brewery.

Appearance: black body with a finger of frothy dark tan foam. Quite good.

Smell: lightly roasty aroma. Nice, but the volume could be turned up a little.

Taste: roasty with a bit of coffee character and a fairly strong bitterness. Not too bad!

Mouthfeel: medium body with a moderate carbonation and decent creaminess.

Overall: a perfectly cromulent stout.

Black with fairly small tan head. Smells of chocolate malt. The taste is excellent with smooth cholocate, figs, and natural black licorice. There's a bit of a roasted coffee bean aftertaste. The beer is very smooth with lower than average carbonation for a stout.

Pitch black with a medium height tan head. Roasted malts, a bit of vanilla, cocoa, dark chocolate.

Looks like a brown stout, deep brown. Mississippi river y'all. Some chocolate malt sensation, relatively tame.

Plenty of hops and bitterness in this stout, the ibus are a poppin'. Not an overly thick beer, but it definitely falls in the chewy range. You get hints of smoke and coffee from the roasted malt.

Been reliable every time I've had it.
