Appearance - Pours red amber in color with a off-white/pinkish half finger width head. Sub-par retention, dissipating to a mostly barren layer of suds and a razor thin ring around the edge of the glass.
Smell - Aroma is heavy on honey and the hibiscus, which hints of floral and lightly fruity character.
Taste - Thankfully more subdued and balanced than the nose would indicate. Still predominate with the hibiscus flavor; honeysuckle, light berry, and a rounded floral quality. Sweet, but not cloyingly so as hinted in the nose, with a bit of balance coming from a touch of grain and faint bitteness that is slightly grassy.
Mouthfeel - Medium in body with moderate carbonation. Smooth, silky texture. Goes down stupid easy.
Overall - Delivers on the promise of the label, without going overboard. I don't think many guys would appreciate this beer, but women at a summertime BBQ might find it a nice, surprising treat.

Pours a hazy orange-red with a foamy reddish-white head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Small streaks of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, grain, earth, cranberry, and hibiscus aromas. Taste is much the same with subdued cranberry and floral flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of earth bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is an above average beer that smells solid, but the flavors are a bit watery in my opinion.
