Like a campfire in a glass, this robust beauty has seductive notes of vanilla, smoked cedar, and mulling spices on the nose. A dark pour with mild lacing, she is a rollercoaster of lush chocolate and fig fruits diving into a semi-dry finish of toast and biscuit.

12 oz bottle, poured into a pint glass

Appearance: Pours a beautiful , completely opaque, pitch-black color with a quarter of a finger of white-colored head that quickly dissolved away into a thin lacing of foam that completely covered the top of the beer.

Aroma: Nice aromas of bready, toasted malt, the eponymous graham crackers, followed by some brown sugar, cinnamon and honey.

Taste: Very nice! Strong, bready flavors of toasted malt up front, imparting notes of bicuits, graham crakers, honey-bicusuits, followed by lots of brown sugar-like sweetness, a touch of vanilla, and a touch of milky, lactose.

Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied and extremely smooth and creamy as there is not carbonation, and quite a bit of milky, lactose. With an ABV of 5.6%, there is no alcohol on the palate.

Overall: Wow! What a great, creamy, malty, sweet, porter! Delicious! I wish we could get this on the east coast!

Incredibly smooth. Not as sweet as the title would suggest. Similar to some vanilla porters like Psycho Penguin. Silky mouthfeel. Great winter beer without all of the usual holiday spices. Highly recommended.

Light black in color with almost no penetration to light. A half inch of khaki colored head blankets the top. Brussels lacing. Aroma is dark malt with a hint of smoke. The taste is comprised of bitter dark malt with a hint of sweetness in the finish. The mouth is smooth and silky.

A - Pours black with a two-finger foamy tan head. The head leaves some light sticky lacing.

S - Faint aromas of vanilla and roasted malts.

T - Taste of vanilla, marshmallow, and roasted malts. The finish is sweet with a vanilla and light coffee adding some bitterness.

M - Light bodied with medium carbonation. Mouthfeel is thin and watery.

O - A little disappointed in this beer. I expected more from a GABF medal winner. This would make a good winter session beer.
