This is one of the best newer IPAs I've had in a while...The Flavor reminds me very much of the mighty O'Dells IPA (with a little more sweetness), but the Mouthfeel is different (a bit more syrupy) and the Aroma is not quite as strong as the flavor. The best part is that its normally at least a dollar or more Cheaper than O'Dells IPA so its a great buy.

This was a great find. Has the fresh lightness of a session ipa with the fullness of a full strength ipa.

A really great Denver IPA. Lots of fresh crisp, tropical fruits in the nose with enough sweetness from the malts to counter the amount of hops they crammed in this can. Not too heavy of a beer, even at 6.5%, crisp enough to make it easy to drink. Very nice, very nice.

Very thin, little hops and no malt. Would try again.

Poured from can to pint glass. One finger solid frothy head, great retention and some sticky lacing spots. Mostly golden in color and clear. Ruby red grapefruit on nose followed by Valencia oranges. Lots of floral and fruity behavior. Quite pleasant! Tastes much like aroma suggests, but not quite as potent. Still extremely nice. Feels almost sticky, though medium bodied and lower in carbonation. Light heat. Lovely member of the IPA category. Would happily buy again.

12 oz Can sampled 3 weeks old

Pours a clear golden orange body. Head is 1/4 inch and white. Head retention and lacing are above average.

Aromas are of muted hops, a little bit of pineapple and mango. Slight pine notes come thru as beer warms. Amber malts are light and alcohol is undetected.

Taste is full of floral and resinous hops, getting some acidic fruit too, pineapple and mango juice. A touch of sweet malt is present, alcohol is well hidden.

Mouthfeel is light and well carbonated. Head has a nice froth, bitterness stays on the lips and tongue.

Overall good Ipa but nothing that sets it apart from the countless others in the country. Great price keeps me coming back for more.

Pours a firey orange-golden with a nice white head. Aroma is bright and hoppy with some tropical fruits, ruby red grapefruit, grapes, and pine. Really not much malt to speak of. Flavor was quite similar huge grapefruit, tropical fruits, and some decent amounts of piney bitterness in the finish. A crisp, clean, active mouthfeel. Overall, fantastic beer right here. Loved every sip.

12 oz can, no date on it. 7% ABV.

A: Clear, light copper body. Bright. 2 fingers of head when I poured it.

S: Dank, earthy notes with some tropical fruit. Nice smelling beer.

T: Tons of hop flavor, follows the nose. Medium bitterness. A light caramel, bready malt backbone that works well with the hops.

M: Adequate carbonation. Not much heat from the alcohol.

O: This beer really reminds me of Hop Abomination from Dry Dock, just done better. Really unfortunate that there was no date whatsoever on these. That would keep me from buying more.

The first can of this I had seemed pretty good, subsequent cans were disappointing. I swear there was some butter flavor, grapefruit, bitter, almost good but something was off. The aroma was unremarkable. Overall, eh it might be good on draft but the cans were spotty.

this is one of the best ipas ive ever had, bar none. it took me by total surprise, and i cant wait to go back for another. itd be a shame if they didnt keep brewing this. it pours clear golden color with lazy rising bubbles and an inch of fluffy white foam. the nose is epic, lemony as hell, nelson sauvin hops are featured beautifully here, some tropical fruit as well, pinapple, passion, and lemongrass. the flavor conveys all of the fruity and spunky magic of the nelson sauvin. fresh tasting, some mowed field essences, a very light malt profile less than pale. crisp in the finish, this is a fruit cocktail of an ipa. mouthfeel is also right on, lighter body, perfect abv, and bright carbonation. i could drink this forever. add another wonderful beer to the nelson sauvin portfolio. easily the best denver beer co. beer ive had yet.

Pours a clear amber, one fingers worth of fluffy white head that sticks, substantial rings of lace down the glass. Smell: grapefruit, floral and a note of pineapple, light honey sweetness. Taste: sweetened grapefruit, tropical and spicy notes, sugary pale sweetness with a touch of biscuit. Medium bodied with prickly carbonation. Really nice, chill IPA.
