Wichita Brewing Company in an unassuming brewpub tucked away on the corner of 13th an Tyler. However, don't overlook this brewpub. The atmosphere is great. Clean, spacious dining. Lots if TVs. Delicious appetizers. Excellent pizza at affordable prices. But the beer steals the show. Delicious, with a nice variety of styles. In fact they have it all. They even sell growlers, pint glasses, shirts... This place needs to expand. I'll be refilling my growler often.

Good beer, great food and excellent service. An oasis after a long drive across the fields of Kansas.

I really liked this place and consider it to be the class of Wichita. Did a flight and beers were good to great, although they had an aged barleywine I desperately wanted in a growler but was not allowed to procure. Didn't try any pizza which I regret in hindsight, it looked her good. This will be the first place I go if I find myself back in Wichita.

I'll be honest and say ill enjoy here just for not being river city brewery.
The food is simple, pizzas and sandwiches; but they do them well.
The beers are pretty good, especially since they've only been open for a year or two.
Service isn't bad, I had a waiter who had just finished finals so his brain was a little fried but I can't hold that against the place.
They had special firkins for Craft Beer Week which was great to see.

Visited this place the day before Thanksgiving.

My wife thinks this building was Sporting Goods Store prior to this being there, it shows. They are trying, you got some beer memorabilia, a nice wood fired oven & a nice view of the brewing process

All beer was good & brewed to style. The Vanilla porter & IPA were the stars. The Pumpkin Ale & Black IPA were pretty tasty as well

Service was fairly attentive, there were a few slip ups, but nothing major

6 beers on tap plus 2 guests

The food was very tasty, would go back just for the spinach salad beer or no beer

Prices were fairly reasonable, will be visiting these guys again

After good news from the doc today, I decided to celebrate by trying a new brewpub. When you try something new, you never know what you will get.

Went in the middle of a weekday afternoon. Not being mealtime, I was only there for the beer. Sat at the bar and was promptly greeted by a friendly bartender. He proved to be knowledgeable about the beers on tap, and had tried them all.

The tap selection was limited. House brews were: V6 IPA, Half-Wit Wheat, Brewship Belgium and 5:02 Amber. Being out of their ValleyView Porter, they had Summit Porter. Also Rally Cap Ale (Pete's) and Summit Oktoberfest. There was a tap handle for Green Flash Hophead Red, but it was another selection they were without.

My selections were the V6 IPA and the Brewship Belgium. The Belgian was unusual and good, but the IPA was great. Cost was very reasonable, ticket for both came to about $8.50 after tax.

I will definitely return at mealtime and try the food. For a brewpub that has only been in business four months, they seem to be gathering a lot of attention. A pleasant change from the Old Chicago chain, where the servers don't know the beer menu and are too busy to wait on you. I hope this brewpub can handle the competition, they are in a tough market area. I will do my part by recommending this establishment to all my friends.

It's located away from the downtown area in a suburban-like strip center. The inside is slightly better than the outside leads you to believe, but could definately use some decorating. Very plain, not quite fast-foody atmosphere that could easily be fixed with some attention.
They have obviously been paying attention to their brewing though. The beer was great. They were out of the vanilla porter, but the IPA was good enough to have more than one. I would go back just for the beer. The pizza was good too, a unique sauce and crust.
The service was great. We were seated immediately and our server was super attentive and cordial. Great job. We hope to make it back to WBC one day.

The Wichita Brewing Company is a very welcome addition to the Wichita beer scene. These guys are new at this but have their priorities straight, and I think they'll be around for a long time.

I've had a chance to try all their beers, and even though I admit to being a bit of an obsessive hophead, I think that all their beers, even the wheat, are pretty damn good. The wheat has this amazing citrus character that's really refreshing. The vanilla porter has a lot of depth and is a great dessert (or with their s'mores pizza). I was most surprised by their 5:02 amber ale, which even though it's balanced, is really interesting and delicious. Their Belgian Pale Ale is pretty popular, but of course it's the IPA that I order over and over again. Personally, I would like it a touch drier and with more hops, but there's not too many beers I've had that I wouldn't add more hops to.

The food is great. These guys are really committed to quality and it shows. Everything has been carefully selected or made in house. Of course, you must try their pizza's the first few times you go there. But tonight, I had their grilled cheese- with turkey, salami, capicola ham and your choice of cheese (I did mozzarella) on your choice of bread (I did sourdough). Delicious! It came with my choice of chips, and I tried beer chips, which were good, but a bit too sweet for me. Oh, and the cream cheese stuffed jalapenos with bacon were delightful.

They've already worked out some issues that were a bit annoying at first- mostly the loud atmosphere and the fact that it was like 90 degrees in there the first couple weeks. I'm looking forward to them introducing some seasonal beers and expanding their guest tap list.

Overall, this is a great new place, and I hope the good people of Wichita continue to support them even after the new-ness has worn off.

I fell in love with this place.

During my visit they had 4 house beers on tap: V.6 IPA, Vanilla Porter, Belgian Pale Ale, and a Witbier. I'm not a fan of belgian beers but I found the BPA and wit to be ok. They seemed to be well made beers, just not my style.
The V.6 IPA was somewhere between an IPA and an IIPA, I'm going to call it an IPA and a half. It had a great caramely sweetness that you would expect from a IIPA but wasn't too aggresively hopped. I found it to be a delicious beer.
Their Vanilla Porter was delicious. My new favorite vanilla porter hands down. I need to do a vanilla porter float next time I visit!
They normally have an amber ale also but they were out during my visit. They did have a guest amber (Breckenridge Avalanche, I think?) on tap.

They also had Green Flash Hop Head Red on tap as a guest tap, I didn't think we could even get Green Flash around here?!

Overall, I was pleased with the beer selection, and I'm excited to visit in the future. I hope they do rotate in some different house beers, I'm putting alot of faith into their recipe formulator!

We also had their pizzas. The Buffalo chicken pizza was good but I couldn't possibly leave this place without trying their Hopperoni. A hops-infused pepperoni pizza?! Uh yeah, it is as good as it sounds. The only problem is I liked it too much and won't be willing to try the rest of their awesome sounding pizzas during later visits. Then our server pitched the peanut butter smore pizza on us, and well, we were stuffed to the brim by the time we finished that little piece of heaven.

Best brewery in Wichita hands down. Can't wait to see them grow and experiment with some new brews.
