On tap at RFD in DC. Cloudy, darker amber color. No head at all, but that could be the pour. No lace, no bubbles.
Caramel and toffee malt in the nose, combined with a nice amount of banana notes. Slight clove in the nose as well. A hint of darker candied fruit.
Toffee malt, with some banana and ripe fruit. Fruit really seems to dominate in this.
Lighter body with ample carbonation. Alcohol is really well hidden here. There is a lot of ripe fruit in this. After some age, this could really develop in complexity. Still pretty nice.

sampled on-tap at the RFD Strong Ale Tasting 2/26/12. review from notes.
A: definitely hazy. caramel hued.
S: bananas, clove. eggy/sulfur. fruity esters.
T: sharp, sugary sweetness. caramel. the sugars are almost syrup-like in the middle. fruits in there as well. banana and pear. finish lingers with toffee.
M: a zesty carbonation on a full body works well here.
D: this is a well-made weizenbock. a strong residual sweetness reminds me this is a bock, however still remains zesty and fruity.
