Pours a translucent golden yellow ,with a nice creamy/foamy head. Smell is very neutral with a faint yeast scent. Taste is a rush of pear and bannana, lemon with a hint of spice(vanilla?). Feels creamy and well balanced, nice carbonation, constant bubbles uprising. Medium body finishes semi dry- Overall Kane knocked this one out of the park. Very true to it's style. I like the fact that Kane is releasing non IPA beers. It shows their skills are not just limited to their 3 line up of IPA.ABV is actually 5.4%-

A: Golden coloring, fair clarity on the first pour into the vessel has a lot of carbonation activity. A quickly and lengthy building of spongy foam forms, dirty white in color, with a rough surface and activity from the bubbling carbonation beneath. The head holds really strong, while providing a solid lace decoration on the vessel walls.
S: Candied sugar fruit on the nose, some slight funk from the Belgian yeast, with some traditional wet apple slices and pear. Banana esters are thrown in, with a sweet scent of musky, pale grains.
T: The flavor followed suit of the nose with a good yeastiness of wet apple slices and pears, green melon and sweet golden grains. The banana esters are here with some hints of cloves. Fruity, musky grains, hay, and a sugary tart following.
M: The mouthful was soft and creamy, a nice fullness and smooth texture.
O: A very crisp and yeasty example makes for a strong drinkability. Sharp and spicy, true to authentic Belgain standards, a very hard thing it seems for american breweries to replicate, but Kane does a very fine job with much respectability for those who are fans of this decreasingly scarce style.

16 oz. can.
Canned on 09/17/19.
Moderate pour yields a two inch white head over a fairly bright body with scant lacing while the head dissipates down to a ring in a few minutes. Nose of funk, bananas, and a bit of spice. Taste is a tad sweeter than the nose would portend, though quite tasty, refreshing, and finishing with a slight candied citrus. Nice feel and overall, I'd have again and recommend. Cheers!!

Clear pale gold with little to no head clearing out to a completely fluid surface.
Taste is Belgian phenol with a little spice and funk, but overall clean and light as wheat and corn round out the fluffy medium-light body before a semi-dry finish that brings out accents of lemon.

On tap at the brewery, Solid effort. Refreshing. My fiance loved it.
a) Pours a clouded golden body w lasting, fluffy white head, that lasts and laces.
s) Typical Belgian spice, yeast, clove.
t) More fruit and complexity. Wine like. Good aperitif.
f) Summery, lighter body, mid carbonated, crisp and thin finish.
o) Overall light.

On-tap @ 22 West Tap & Grill in Bridgewater, NJ.
The last of Kane's three year-round offerings that I am finally getting around to trying (Head High and Overhead being the other two).
Pale gold in color and hazy with a small white head. Served a little too cold, the aroma beings to pop as the beer warms a bit. Classic fruity and spicy Belgian yeast aroma and flavor. Some spices and lemon with light peppery notes to it as well. Medium-light bodied and extremely smooth. Soft in the finish. Incredibly easy to drink.
Kane has been brewing some of, if not, the best beer in NJ since they opened, and Single Fin is no exception. Reminds me more of a Witbier than Belgian Blonde or Pale Ale. Another great local beer.

Growler purchased 7/2/16 at brewery. Poured into Kane Belgian glass.
L: 2F head with good retention, moderate lacing, and a ring. Beer is a hazy pale gold.
S: Sweet malts forward especially Pilsner, Belgian Trappist yeast, maybe some coriander
T: Pilsner malt dominates, some coriander, a touch of citrus (this has some elements of a wit overall), pepper and floral notes on the finish.
F: Light bodied, medium carbonation, good construction and balance. Nice drying that doesn't allow finish to be too sweet.
F: Very strong example of the style.
