Pours a hazy yellowish-orange color with a very thin head.

Aromas begin with a decent blast of citrus and passionfruit hops. Underneath there is a light pale and biscuity maltiness.

The tastes begin with the light pale makt sweetness but then the rush of citrusy and tropical hop flavors come in. There’s a bit of lemon peel and some zestiness in the finish.

The mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. The finish is a bit sticky and resiny but not overly so.

Overall this is a really well made DIPA. It is massively hoppy but not as sweet as many of the style often are. Not the hoppiest thing I have ever had and I really expected a bit more hop aroma considering the "double-dry hopping" but I am being picky considering this was a really quality beer.

growler poured into tulip - thanks brad

Pours a clouded copper orange with a nice crop of white head, fades to patchy spotty lacing.

Super citrus forward nose, delivering grapefruit, tangerine and pineapple. Touches of bready malt with caramel, some sweetness with faint alcohol warmth.

Starts off with heavy hop bitterness backed by a wave of citrus fruit. Orange, grapefruit and pineapple with some sticky sweetness. Bready malts layered by honey and caramel. Bitter and warm in the finish.

Fuller medium body, sticky and lingering on the tongue. Solid DIPA with some really nice citrus flavor that's amplified from the regular version.
