750 ml bottle in to a stemmed tulip glass.

Pours a honey gold color with a bright white cap that retains well and leaves modest lacing. Lots of rapid fire micro bubble carbonation.

Farmhouse yeast and funk. Floral, dry, light fruits. Honey sweet checks the funk.

Graham cracker saison. Cracker malt, honey, fruit and spice. A touch of clove.

Dry with a pinch from the rye. Light bodied with sturdy carbonation. Honey stickiness and
noticeable alcohol.

This bottle came from Kane’s very first bottle run of Apiary. I’ve refrigerated it for nearly a decade and it drunk beautifully. The honey addition worked welll.

Did not enjoy this at all. Syrup mess with flavors that are all over the place and don't blend well at all. Borderline drain pour in my opinion.

Growler purchased 2/4/16 and poured into Belgian ale glass.

L: 2F head with good retention, good amount of lacing, cap and ring. Beer is a slightly hazy light copper.

S: Notes are light yeast, cracker malts, floral, and honey.

T: Taste follows nose for the most part. As the name indicates the honey and sweetness play a larger role than your average Saison, but not too sweet or cloying. Yeastiness and Brett there, but stay in their lanes. Good drying.

F: Light to medium body, Light to medium carbonation. Good construction and balance. Honey makes it not quite as drinkable and refreshing as your average Saison, personal preference on this point.

O: Nice Saison with a sweet twist.
