Reviewed from notes taken in Fall 2014 in Austin, Texas.
Served on-draught.
HEAD: None. A light ring of lacing adheres to the sides of the glass after pouring.
BODY: Milky yellow. Quite dull.
Interesting enough for a gose. My curiosity is piqued.
AROMA: Pineapple, sea salt, light lemon zest, coriander, lactic notes, and some tartness.
Light and timid. I detect no overt yeast notes, off-notes, or booze.
Not as salty as I hoped for judging by the aroma. Pleasant, though. Mild in terms of strength.
TASTE: Lactic and fairly tart. Has a soft wheat base with a kiss of sea salt and a faint sourness. Balanced, mellow, and well-built. Cohesive, but not horribly complex. Tasty.
Average depth, duration, and intensity of flavour. I like it.
TEXTURE: Smooth, wet, lactic, lightly smacky, light-bodied, refreshing. Enjoyable and approachable, complementing the mellow taste well.
Not oily, gushed, hot, boozy, astringent, harsh, rough, or scratchy.
OVERALL: Easy to drink, but not a paragon of the style. I'll enjoy finishing the glass, but I wouldn't seek this beer out over favourites like Anderson Valley and Westbrook. Nice work from Odell, but not world-class.

I haven't had many variations of this style, but I really dig this beer. It's got a great blend or salty tartness and goes down so easy. Quite possibly the perfect summer beer (or everyday beer if you live in Texas).

It was ok... i really don't like sours, but could tell that this was the type of beer that the type of person that likes this type of beer would typically like.
You could tell by the way the beer did it's beer like dancing in my mouth.
Cheers!
