750ml bottle. Caged and corked. No dating information found on bottle or on label, but there is a noticeable layer of sediment at the bottom of the barrel.
Clear, pale gold colored body. Each pour brings forth a vigorous, small bubble white head, which subsides in a couple of minutes. Leaves behind just a few spots of lacing.
Aroma of yeast funk plus pineapple and mango fruit.
Taste is very dry, with lots of yeast character but the funk is mild hay-like and not strong. As the label states, the fruit taste is there of pineapple, pear, mango, and banana. The fruit is not sweet. Not much of an after taste.
Medium mouth feel. Because of the dryness, each sip calls for another. Excellent carbonation.
A very good but not great yeast dominated ale.

On tap into a snifter. Clear golden color with a thick and long lasting white head. Tropical fruit and clove on the nose. The taste was close. Loads of fruit. Subtle funk and grass. Light bodied and crisp. Very nice.

Odell is one of my favorite brewers, so I was surprised to find this beer pretty underwhelming.
The appearance is fine: golden, with a bit of a head. (Served on tap.) The smell is mild to the point of not being very noticeable at all. The taste is fruity and a bit sweet. There's mild yeast in there, and it's just slightly tart, but you have to look for the tartness.
Overall, it's a nice, pleasant beer, and I'd happily have another, but for an A plus brewer like Odell, that's faint praise.

A: Poured into a Duvel tulip to a hazy straw colored yellow and topped by a dense two finger white head which retains well and leaves decent lacing.
S: Smells of tropical fruits and light pale malts with a little bit of funk and a hint of some spicy yeast
T: Taste is tropical fruits with a nice blast of funky barnyard and hay along with some spicy yeast. Ever so slightly tart but not very. Swallow is more tropical fruits and spice with a little more funk and hay.
M: This beer is fairly light in body but it is not watery. Carbonation is effervescent and slightly prickly while the beer has a drying finish.
O: Overall this one is pretty good. Not the best but certainly not the worst. Good complexity and minimal faults. I think it could have been a little bolder in flavor but what it does have is very nice balance. Worth a try if you like your farmhouse ales funky.

750ml
Caged/Corked
Pours a very nice yellowish color, pretty nice carbonation, with a pretty nice thick/creamy one-finger off-white head, which leaves some pretty nice sticky lacing behind. The nose is malty, yeasty, spicy. The taste is malty, yeasty, spicy. Medium body, AVE hidden pretty well. Overall, a tasty brew.

This is a very light, yellow-orange hazy brew. The head is fluffy and white. Lots of cloudiness and the aroma has a spritzy, fruity, funkiness, along with a mellow light malt note. The taste is a bit more sweet and malty than typical for the style. Light brett, a bit of yeast, and lots of complexity. After a few sips, there is some warming. Fuller in body than expected. Very good.

A: I really like the bacteria/bug vibe going on on the bottle. Wish there was a born on date. Pours bright gold with a decent-though-slightly-below-average-for-a-Saison head.
S: A bit musty. Kind of muted. Am getting some barnyard.
T: Dry as a bone. Getting decent brett-y undertones. Not much juiciness on this very dry brew. Was hoping for a bit more complexity.
F: Light, but also hearty.
O: Always a fan of trying new brett and funked out beers. This isn't a standout for the style, but is a fun brew.

This redolent reddish-orange pours with two-fingers of sustained white froth. Brett, pineapple, white grape and green apple float nicely to the nose. Tastes of brett and more light fruits with a hint of sugar in the finish. Light to medium soft and dry as can be. There's some fruit peel in the aftertaste.
This might not be extreme enough for some, but it's about as well-balanced and flavorful as it gets in my book.
