The wise eyes of tradition focus on our brewhouse as we concoct our famed Double Pilsner. Refreshing and delicate yet bold and assertive, its golden straw color leaves nowhere for imperfections to hide. Scents of pilsner malt and light floral hop aromas combine with a rich malt flavor to create a balanced and warming Imperial Pilsner. Rest assured, you’ve made a wise choice.

Decent strong pils, not overly malty as some in this style. Normal pils color and body is slightly viscous, slightly sweet grain aroma. Taste is rather smooth and not too sweet, some honey and corn. Decent, but not the best.

LOOKS: A rich, fairly clear golden, in color, with a finger of white foam that recedes quickly to a ring. Mild lacing down the glass.
AROMA: Hmm...Let's start with honey, and then there is a smell underneath that I'm not too keen about. Not the usual grassy type Noble hop usually found in a Pils. I can't really explain it, so I won't try.
TASTE: Sweet honey first, followed immediately by that 'other' quality, and then back to an almost sickly sweet 'honey.'
FEEL: Medium full body, well carbonated, a tad sticky, drier on finish.
OA: Not my cup of tea.

Haven’t had this in ages, and I missed it. An unusual and fun beer.

Poured from a bottle into a tulip glass. Beautiful golden yellow color with a creamy white head and great lacing. Sweet grass smell. A bit fruity with sme vanilla. Hard to describe but good! I hope I can find it more often.

Pours out a slightly hazy straw color with a two finger off-white head. Retention is excellent and leaves rings of lacing. Carbonation looks lacking.

Sweet corn and tropical fruits in the nose pineapple comes to mind. Theres a pleasant floral bitterness with some grains. Smells heavy.

Extremely sweet. There is in fact a corn sweetness in it that I don't care for. Bitterness is low compared to the nose and theres a lingering medicina charater that isnt wanted.

The mouthfeel is thick and syrupy. Carbonation is low.

Maybe I just didnt get this beer. I can finish it I just don't see myself ever wanting to drink another. Not even for free let alone 5 dollars a bottle.

Pours a foggy orange-yellow with a finger of white head. Not much head formation, and doesn't retain very well. Lacing is thick and dense though. Aroma is orange zest, lemongrass, grape jelly, dank, herbal and floral hops and pilsner malts. Aromatics is dense and confused. Flavor profile is orange zest, lemongrass, melon, and grape jelly. Hops are dense, hitting notes of herbal and floral. Pilsner, bread, and biscuit malts form a slightly doughy, undercooked base. Mouth feel is medium-thick with a velvety texture that imparts a slight effervescent that livens it up a bit. Overall, dense pilsner notes, but at the cost of being a little confused.

Served in a 12oz snifter from a 12oz bottle.

Pours a clear straw yellow with a thick white pillow of a head that recedes slowly and leaves gorgeous lacing. Aroma is lemon and biscuit. Flavor is very sweet, honey with a touch of lemon, not enough bitterness to round it out. Feel is thick and chewy. Overall a fun beer even if it's overly sweet.

Listen ppl. I’ve never been a beer guy. I drink whiskey and rum..until I tried Odell’s Double Pilsner. It was an awakening for me. Like a white girl that just read 50 shades of grey. It was like...the first time I heard the Beatles.

I just moved to Texas and loved this beer so much I’ve been trying to order it but it’s not available in stores yet. I may even bathe in it.

Right off the bat this one had an almost hazy yellow appearance similar to a hefeweizen. Strange. Hoping it had lots of hop matter in it contributing to the questionable appearance. Did give good retention and lace notes though. Aroma was definitely hoppy, mild lemon notes behind that.

Taste kicks down continued hop presence and substantial bitterness. Body stays light, relatively highly carbonated. Hid the alcohol pretty well.

I definitely liked this, started out concerned about the appearance but it overcame that in every other category.

Pours a rich, golden colour. Smells like clean, cereal malts, and slightly sweet. Tastes a bit sweet, medium-bodied, and fresh malts. Very typical pilsner tastes, but much more intense and heavier.
