12oz bottle purchased at Pilgrim's in Coeur d'Alene. According to the label, this was either brewed on or best by 9/20/13.
Poured a clear, yellow-gold color, with a creamy white-colored head. Spotty lace.
Grassy hop aroma and bready malts in the nose. There was an odd, unplaceable aroma in the background.
The flavor was mostly malty, with some grassy hop bitterness, and...veggies? Weird vegetable oil-like off-flavor really barges into the taste about midway through.
Thin bodied, with a bland, watery mouthfeel.
Even without the off-flavor, this beer wasn't much to be impressed with. Don't think I'll have another.

T - Sweet and tasty! Malty.
M - Well carbonated, smooth.
O - Perfect take on a double pilsner: sweet, malty, easy to drink.
