12 ounce bottle purchased from Odell back in April for under two dollars, figured this was going to be the only way I would be able tro try this beer but ended up seeing it all over the place afterwards, reviewed from notes while drinking it the last night in hotel room, golden orange with some yellow highlights, over an inch of white foamy head, aroma consists of piney hops, toasted grains, earthiness, and lemon, flavor starts off quite dry with an earthy feel, finishes with a hint of toasty bread but the pine comes out full force and provides nice bitterness, medium bodied, nice crisp carbonation, could drink a few more bottles with ease, dry but very smooth, crisp and light overall, very good IPA and is reminiscent of west coast interpretations of the style, wish this stuff was available here, this would be a great bargain for the nine or ten dollars I saw six packs going for around town, will drink again, recommended

From notes.

12oz bottle purchased at Pilgrim's in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. According to the label it was either brewed on or best by 9/20/13. I know I purchased it after that date, so I think it was a brewed on date.

Poured a semi-clear orangey amber color, with a big, sudsy white head that left lots of lace on the sides of my glass.

The nose was of citrusy and piney hops.

The taste was more piney and more bitter than the nose led me to believe it would be, and is more balanced. There's just enough maltiness to provide a nice backbone.

Medium bodied, with an oily, prickly mouthfeel.

A very tasty example of a west coast IPA, despite it's Colorado origins. Some might consider that the west coast, but not me. Regardless of it's origin, I'd drink it again.
