Poured into a pint glass. Has a deep straw gold/orange color and pours a one finger head. Excellent lacing. Smell was really picking up notes of fruits, hops, and pine. Taste much like it smells and is well balanced, not as bold tasting as I've had with some IPAs. Very smooth drinking with this one and pleasant aftertaste. Overall I could see myself to continue drinking it down the line. I think it would be a great IPA for someone who is new to IPAs or craft beer as it is full in flavor but not too bitter and well balanced. I'd probably rate this behind Surly Furious and Two Hearted Ale as for IPAs I'd reach for before this one.

The beer pours a clear amber color with sticky foam floating above. The aroma is a strong with components of lemon, orange, and pine resin. A hoppy affair as it slithers across the palate. The orange peel and Georgia pine combine to produce a hefty presence of hops. The mouthfeel is medium to heavy, effected with hops oil. The malt barely peeks through to produce some caramel tones. A very nice, strong brew.

12 oz bottle into a pint glass. Best by 12/05/12C.

A - Dark amber body with one finger high off white head. Thick lacing and retention.

S - Peach juice dominant with some pine and very sweet malts. Somewhat grassy and grainy.

T - Great balance of flavors. Equal does of peach, citrus, pine, and grass with a light bitterness. A little bit of crackery and sweet malt on the finish. Only deterrent here is the alcohol is noticeable. Mouth feel is medium bodied with nice carbonation.

O - A very nice IPA. I can feel the alcohol a tad, but the flavors and aromas are very nice and hoppy. Reminds me a lot of Firestone Walker Union Jack but with some grassy notes.

Picked up a bottle in Pocatello, ID on 9.4.12
Dated 11/17/12A

A - Pours a clear medium to light orange with a nice cream colored head that is very foamy, has good retention, and leaves lots of lacing on the glass.

S - Lots of pine and grass. Some sweet citrus as well.

T - Again nice pine and citrus with more of a sweet biscuity orange. Very smooth.

D - Great carbonation and body. Thank you bottle dating! No bitterness at all, very smooth.

O - A really tasty ipa. I am glad to have found it out here. This is not a good beer town, so finding some Odell beer was nice.
