Appearance: Honey color, white head that dissipates to a thin layer with good lacing.

Smell: Big hop aroma. Citrus notes come through first. Grapefruit for the most part. Bittering hop aroma in the background. Not much on the malt front.

Taste: More of the bittering hops come through than the grapefruit.

Mouthfeel: Thin and dry. Slightly bitter. Good amount of carbonation.

Overall: Not a bad brew at all. Very solid execution, bottle dating, decent price point, good availability in my state as well. Give it a shot if you haven't had a chance!

From 12oz bottle to Bruges hybrid glass on 2/2/12
*From notes

-- Thanks, John --

A: Clean, pale golden. A standard pour yields a white two finger head. Decent retention and lacing.

S: Lemon, and lots of it. Hints of Pine-Sol and malt.

T: Again, more pine. If you had to classify it, I'd certainly call this more of an "east coast" style IPA. Not overly fruity, it's more resin based then anything.

M: Weak. It's thin, which really is a detriment to the beer.

O: Odell's IPA is fairly middle of the road. It doesn't stand out in a strong field. I'm beginning to think I'm not a fan of Odell's suds.

This is a great beer in a sense that you can get it anywhere here in Arizona. I am glad I am able to buy this on a regular basis and I believe it is a good tasting beer that you can have on any occasion. Might I add this is very affordable.

Taste: Has an awesome hop taste, the one im drinking imparticular must have been a tad older, but still held proper hop characteristic

mouthfeel: has your IPA mouthfeel, pretty damn awesome and is the perfect between creamy and light mouthfeel.

aroma: Like I said this was probably an older bottle, but overall the smell is good. Citrus *like armarillo hops*

overall: This is a great beer for someone to experience. This is something they brew all year round that offers a very citrusy and partially balanced IPA. It has some alcohol content to get you feelin good which is always good, but you don't get that crazy burn from the beer. I fully recommend it if you haven't tried it and for $9 a six pack, can't be beaten.

Orange-gold, with a compact but uber-sticky white head. Juicy hops - the usual American clan - pine, tangerine, and even some mango. The bitterness is expertly balanced with a lean malt backbone that keeps the whole package together and super drinkable. It was an exercise to drink this slowly so the bottle lasted more than 20 minutes. Please Odell, come to Oklahoma.

Note: This review was a re-post from my former account, jmkratt, which was hacked and I lost all my reviews...sorry for the redundancy.

Poured from 12 oz bottle to pint glass.

A - Crystal clear gold translucent with a slightly off-white head. Not hazy in the least bit. Head lasts a good while with nice lacing.

S - Perfumy hop aromas! Grapefruit, orange, and floral in character.

T - Citrus flavors carry over to the initial taste. Very nice variety of floral and citrus hops. Bitterness follows as it blends with a slightly spicy note. Incredibly smooth and well balanced though hops dominate.

M - Very smooth with nice carbonation.

D - Very drinkable IPA. Unlike so many IPA's that are overloaded with hop flavors, aroma, and bitterness, I found this be quite right.

One of the better IPAs I've had. I would strongly recommend it.

Topped with a vast three finger thick rocky head that has awesome retention. The body is copper in color, and only has a slight haze.

The aroma is all hops: piny, citrusy, and floral.

Taste wise, it's mostly grapefruit with some mellow caramel notes.

Feels oily, coarse, and dry.
