Poured from a 12 oz bottle into a standard pint.
A: Hazy golden hue. Pours a half finger, bubbly, white head. Settles quickly, but not completely leaving a smattering of bubbles and a ring around the rim. Thick beer ring lacing.
S: Pine resin, orange citrus, grapefruit, and honey.
T: Yeast, lemon and grapefruit citrus, and a hint of honey, with some fresh tea leaf.
M: Crisp, and somewhat syrupy in body. Slightly sweet in the finish. Well-balanced.
D: Sip and enjoy.
Atmosphere is pretty good. Decent head, and some really nice lacing. Nose is sweet and piney, with citrus and honey. Yeasty tone bittered with a crisp hop and diverse citrus, sweetened with honey, and balanced with a little fresh tea leaf. Overall, this is a really good quaff.

Bottle poured into a Duvel tulip. Dated 8-21-14, so must be a "best by" date since this is still July. Medium orange body with a light haze. Two finger off-white head that dissipates fairly quickly but leaves a bit of lacing.
Wow - nice aroma for an APA. Heavy fruit notes that seem to be a blend of many types of fruit including citrus, tropical AND a peach note. Very light malt note in the background.
The taste follows the aroma but I expected it to be a little sweeter based on the aroma. But, that's OK, the flavor rocks. A light hop note that is little more grassy than piney gives the sweet hop and malt flavors a balance.
Medium thickness in the mouthfeel and no obvious notice of alcohol. I really like this and will be seeking it out.

On draft at the Odell Brewery - June 2013
A - Yellow golden, tons of clarity. 1/2 a finger of head, and a little lace
A - Big and hoppy, due to the dry hopped process.
T - A big hopy pale ale. Well balanced, tasty!
M - Well carbonated, smooth.
O - Best Pale ale I have had in awhile. Almost - IPA-ish. Get some!
