A - Pours a rich gold with a thin head, which rapidly falls to a ring and island. Small bubbles of evenly spread carbonation float to the surface. Reasonable start.
S - Resinous/herbal hops, peach, pineapple, light breadiness, slightly floral.
T - Refined herbal hops initially. Drink becomes watery and tasteless in the middle before light fruitiness appears. Finishes with an bubblegum edge. Aftertaste is lightly hoppy with a bit of caramel.
M - Far too watery. The light carbonation is nice, but the beer need more body.
D - I would struggle to give this anything other than an average score. There is nothing particularly dislikeable about the beer, but by the same token, nothing to get excited about.

Bottle poured into a Duvel tulip. Dated 8-21-14, so must be a "best by" date since this is still July. Medium orange body with a light haze. Two finger off-white head that dissipates fairly quickly but leaves a bit of lacing.
Wow - nice aroma for an APA. Heavy fruit notes that seem to be a blend of many types of fruit including citrus, tropical AND a peach note. Very light malt note in the background.
The taste follows the aroma but I expected it to be a little sweeter based on the aroma. But, that's OK, the flavor rocks. A light hop note that is little more grassy than piney gives the sweet hop and malt flavors a balance.
Medium thickness in the mouthfeel and no obvious notice of alcohol. I really like this and will be seeking it out.

On draft at the Odell Brewery - June 2013
A - Yellow golden, tons of clarity. 1/2 a finger of head, and a little lace
A - Big and hoppy, due to the dry hopped process.
T - A big hopy pale ale. Well balanced, tasty!
M - Well carbonated, smooth.
O - Best Pale ale I have had in awhile. Almost - IPA-ish. Get some!
