A mystical legend echoes in our brew house—that of St. Lupulin (loop-you-lin), the archetypal hophead. He devoted endless summers to endless rows of hops, tending to the flowers and the beloved resin within—lupulin. Extraordinary oils in this yellow resin provide this dry-hopped extra pale ale with an undeniably pleasing floral aroma and clean, crisp finish. One sip of this seasonal summer ale and you too will believe.

Purchased a six pack from Parker Payless Liquors.
Odell St. Lupulin poured an attractive golden honey color with a big, foamy head. The smell is noticeable immediately and is very hoppy with pine and citrus emerging as the dominant aromas.
The taste is very well-balanced for such a hoppy-smelling beer. Big pine and grapefruit notes hit the sides and back of the tongue and linger during the sip and afterwards, but a nice malty undercurrent settles in after a second or two and provides a good counterweight to the the hops.
This is one of the better APAs I've had recently. The balance between malt and hops, bitter and smooth, is nearly perfect and makes for superb drinkability. This is a great seasonal from Odell, and I'm glad I have five more to enjoy.

Beautiful pour…gold with a touch of orange and vigorous white head. Love the lacing. Muted notes of floral and lemon. Bright citrus taste….Im always reminded of faint lemon when I enjoy this beer. Mellow hop bitterness. Feel is right in my wheelhouse. Silky mouthfeel with fine effervescent carbonation. Look forward to this release every spring. It’s a well crafted pale ale that lets you appreciate the finer details of a craft beer.

Pours from the can clear and clean, with generous foaming. Initially, I received a big hoppy hit that mellowed out a little as it opened. It’s restrained, with hints of the beast within, although it plays nice and fair.

Tasted on tap in a random bar in Boise, Idaho. The beer list was a bit sketchy and I did not know it was an Odell beer until I searched for it on BA later in order to rate it. I was very unimpressed with the sample I had, finding it lacked head and did not have distinctive aromas or flavors. It was a very commonplace-seeming APA. Looking at the other reviews and scores on BA, I wonder if the keg or taplines in this bar were not treated well, leading to the beer losing some of its charm. However, all I can do is "call it like I saw it."

Look is somewhat hazy pale orange. Nose is a bit muted yet with notable citrus vibe and a tinge of pine. Taste is much less hoppy than what I was expecting. Rather muted and not very bitter hop with a decidedly citrus forward note, almost like a tame bitter orange rind. Feel is very nice with a lot of mouth coating viscosity without the sugary after taste.
Overall quite nice, I will refine the review after a few, but for now quite a restrained and mature take on a hop led IPA.
UPDATE: One of the best beers Odell brews.

Scrappy notes from 2018.
Chilled 6 pack. 12 ounce can poured into a pint glass. Looks deep orange with about a 2 inch white head. Smelling hops and caramel malts. Dry hopped yet wet tasting like a fresh squeezed ale. Not citrusy, a little sweet, a hint of green tea, kind of grassy & herbal, clean fast hops encompassed by great tasting malt flavor. Fairly light overall. This could be a daily brew! It is an excellent APA.

6/29/19....pours medium bright copper with small lid of white foam. Sweet caramel malt, and toffees. Slightly fruity. Malty and bready flavor. Light sweetness. Subtle bitter. Very good.

12oz bottle from mixed 6er received from friends Abbie & Amanda for watching their house & pets during the summer. Odell doesn't distribute to Washington. 1 week past it's prime per the best-by date (11/9/19).
Slightly chill-hazed orangey amber color. Good-sized eggshell white head that left streaky, spotty lace.
Smells malty, like a midwest pale ale. Hop aroma is limited to a grassy, herbal note. Big, bready, caramel-ish malt backbone.
Tastes pretty much like it smells. Reminds me of an old school, non-west coast IPA. It's okay, but it's not really my jam.
Medium bodied, with a creamy mouthfeel.
Least flavorful IPA or pale ale I've had from Odell. It doesn't taste old, just underwhelming. It's not bad, but it's not much of anything else besides just...okay.

From old, undated notes. Poured from the bottle.
Murky light orange color.
Thin white head; nice lacing.
High grade marijuana & orange citrus notes in the nose.
Medium mouthfeel.
Flavors of pineapple, orange, raspberry & high grade marijuana mingle comfortably.
A wonder.

L:. Pours a golden yellow orange with a creamy large white head and a few fingers of lacing.
S:. A floral almost yard weed aroma, mixed with ripe orange. This is a kinda odd aroma.
T:. Floral, and herbal mixes with ripe orange, and a slightly weird earthiness at the end.
F:. Smooth carbonation, lighter body.
O:. This beer is a little odd to me.
