Looks: Beautiful Russet golden appearance, slightly cloudy. Two or so fingers of head which retained it's shape for a short time before dissolving into a good looking film on the glass.
Smell: Hops, citrus, pine. Subtle malt hints.
Taste: Clean hoppy pale ale characteristics. Some citrus notes amongst other things. On the smooth side for a pale ale, well balanced in-spite of the strong hoppy tones. Some slight biscuit/cracker type notes detectable in the after taste. Delicious and summery, could even be a session beer.
Mouth: Moderately velvet and smooth feel, slightly oily towards the first few quaffs but settling into a delightfully cloud-like sensation. Excellent level of carbonation, just right to refresh your taste-buds.
Overall: Get it whilst you can, because it's not gonna hang around! Anyone with even a passing interest in any kind of pale ale really should give it a blast. Probably the best thing I've tasted in months!

A nice gift from my parents during their visit!
Pours a clear russet gold leaving a nice touch of froth which slowly diminishes to a cap of white.
The nose consists of crisp malted barley with a touch of honey. The hop factor is well integrated providing a delicate balance. A floral aroma with some subtle spice.
The taste brings more clean malty flavor that is slightly sweet and very nice. More floral hop flavor and some citrus in the background. A great hop profile that is not overdone makes for a great session summerbrew.
The mouth feel is light, crisp and refreshing with just the right amount of fizz.
Overall this is one of my favorite pale ales. I really liked their 5 Barrel pale ale but this is even better! Bravo Odell's!!
