Unusal beer. Supposed to be a brettanomyces beer but the flavors and aromas of brett were muted. Actually somewhat sour like from Lactobacillus. Head was thick and creamy. Kind of like a Belgian farmhouse ale but something just wasn't balanced with the beer. Was not my favorite of the night by far.

750 mL bottle poured into a snifter.
Appearance - Big khaki head atop a brown body. Great retention.
Smell - A little bretty. Deep caramel notes. Some chocolate.
Taste - Bretty and earthy. Lots of deep caramel and chocolate. Dry.
Mouthfeel - A little heavy. Well carbonated.
Overall - A clash of flavors. Meh.
