A- Great looking beer, I guess being a black ale, not a stout, not a porter and not being less that a black ale gives it a window of being dark but still letting some light through. Dark teakwood color, a thin layer of head and pretty strong lacing.
S- Smell like chocolate chip cookies and coffee.
T- Super drinkable. It's delicious really, I am surprised at how much I like this beer. Kind of that chocolate coffee forward flavor then a hoppy finish, not too hoppy to take away the smoothness of the taste here.
M- Thin, not sure that is a bad thing. Very little leftover mouthfeel in terms of tongue pricks or aftertaste. The carbonation is good for the flavor profile just enough to keep it an easy drinker.
O- Really good beer, just drinking it knowing it is pure quality. After Mycenary and now this I gotta say Odell is on my radar big time.
