poured from a 12 oz bottle into a large tulip glass... tonight, in my search for the perfect IPA, I am comparing this with New Belgium Rampant IPA and Ballast Point Sculpin IPA.
Compared to those two, I would rate Rampant the best overall, and Sculpin the lowest.
Myrcenary has some great fruit notes not found in the others: apricot?!? plums?!? it's different from most of the IPA's I have tasted, and different in a good way. The finish is slightly sweet, makes me want to open another bottle.
Bang for the buck: it's not as good a deal as New Belgium Rampant IPA, but it's pretty darn good. Definitely in my top 20, and maybe in my top 10, just cuz the fruit is so unique!

On tap at the Odell Brewery - June 2013
A - Golden, with clarity, 1 finger of head and some sticky lace left on the glass
A - Huge hop kick in the nose! Amazing bitter and sweet.
T - Perfect well balanced DIPA. A little more sweet than bitter. Incredible taste
M - Medium bodied and well carbonated. Great on the palate
O - As good a DIPA as you will ever find. Clone this one, and pass it around. Well done!
