A - Pours a golden orange with a two finger foamy white head. Lots of sticky lacing.
S - Aromas of orange, grapefruit, floral hops, and bready malts.
T - The flavor starts with a strong amount of floral hops upfront. Mid palate there is a nice amount of citrus and sweet malts. The finish has a strong piney hop bitterness.
M - Medium bodied with medium carbonation. Mouthfeel is sticky with a dry finish.
O - A very nice DIPA. Very hops forward with some malty sweetness. One of the better DIPAs you can try.

Purchased in bottles and poured into a Sam Adams Style Pint Glass (all my proper glasses are packed up due to a move)
Appearance: golden hue with a little bit of hop haze. A thick whipped foam like head rides atop the straw golden beer but recedes into a nice lacing.
Aroma: Intense hop presence immediately hits your nose then it fades allowing some citrus and sweet fresh baked bread like aromas to play their part.
Taste: Clean strong bitterness plays it's role right at the front of the tongue a hint of sweetness begins to creep through the middle which is then quickly wiped away by a dry grapefruit, resin, and pine finish.
Overall: I am just beginning to get into IPA and while previously I disliked the intense bitterness of DIPAs I can beginning to fall in love with them. Perfect to have one or two this beer seems to be the best of the DIPAs I have tried so far though there are many more on my list. I would definitely give this one a try even of you don't think you are a fan of bitterness the prevalent citrus and pine qualities of this one may make you a believer.
