picked up a bottle through the Rockies en route to the east coast. Great choice

pours a surprisingly pale, golden hue, silvery white head lacing throughout

aroma- resiny piney hops with lots of tropical fruits, lots of floral in there

taste- pungent sweet hops- juicy tropical fruit; overripe pineapple, maybe a little passionfruit, with citrusy notes of blood orange, lime, and maybe a flash of nectarine--interlaced in a piney base. Finishes crisp and resiny with lush pine and pale malt. Flavors of tropical fruit appear back on the palate moments after the sip

feel- fairly light bodied for its style- incredibly drinkable! sweet, juicy, buttery, decent amount of carb

A fine DIPA! quite a complex layering of flavors, and WAY drinkable. Wish I could get my hands on more of Odell!

Deep bronze colour. Great looking head to begin with quickly dissipates to a soap sud consistency.
Citrus hoppy aroma jumps out at me from quite a distance. On closer inspection get biscuit and toffee perhaps.
Mouuthfeel is very astringent. Got the great complexity in flavours of other American IPAs I have tried but a bit too rich for me at the moment. Maybe need to revisit this beer in the future when I can do it more justice.

Although I've had this beer fresh and on-tap ( which, for obvious reasons, is preferred), this beer still performs well in a bottle and when briefly aged (I assume this is due to the amalgam of hops used). Beer pours a glowing gold topped with a white rutted head, leaving heavy ornaments of lace as it is consumed. A heavy floral bouquet hits the nose upon pouring but quickly mellows leaving a subtle amount of booziness in the nostrils. A bitterness and sharp, hop flavor are well-balanced throughout the taste, leaving an element of alcohol in the esophagus and upon exhalation. Low carbonation allows the weight of the ABV to make it's presence, but it's welcomed.

Maybe it's that August weather in the Central Texas, but I'm still imbibing those big IPAs to cool me off at the end of a hot day. O'dell still doesn't distribute to the Lone Star State just yet, but when it does, Myrcenary will be welcomed with open arms.

Light amber clear color with a one inch head that leaves spotted lace all over the glass.
Smell- Almost a fruitiness with grapefruit light mint note with a little spice. Malt character comes through with light caramel and cracker.
Taste- Sweetness comes first from the malt a light caramel note then the grapefruit rind with some fruity orange sweetness from the alcohol with a light warmth. Almost a taste on the tongue like I ate Fruity Pebbles earlier. Definitely not super fruity, well in balance. Dry cracker malt finishes this beer with some lingering hops.
