I got a can of this beer off the single shelf from the Festival Store in LaCrosse, Wisconsin. It poured a hazy golden with thin white head that is not leaving much lace. The scent had wheat and grain notes with a very subtle citrus peel spice notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with bright sweet malt base with orange citrus and grain presence. The mouthfeel was medium in body and had good carbonation. Overall it is a great beer.

Soft, pale, mildly cloudy, yellowish body; excellent carbonation; thick, densely compact and spongy, white head, long lasting. Smell of lemongrass and cracker. The taste mirrors the aroma; gentle lemon-lime citrus note with toasted grain aspects; delicate sweetness; nuanced bitterness. Medium body; soft and pillowy; creamy.
There's a lot to be said about this beer, all of it good. It exudes great eye appeal, has balance and nuance with its mildly sweet and fruity flavors backed with a nice cereal grain backbone; and brings a very pleasant feel to the palate. A fine, easy drinking beer with character.

Can from Boise Co-op. Very subtle wheat beer, as in, barely there. Light golden body, skin of head. Faint grainy aroma, white bread. Taste too is bready, wheat. It does have a nice texture though, not enough to salvage this.

Odell Easy Street Wheat
Color is light orange and mostly opaque. Nice off white fluffy head, disappears quickly with some lace. 3.5 = good
Nose is light yeast and light whole wheat bread aromas. 3.5 = good
Taste is watery with no wheat sweetness and not much character. It seems to be playing down malt but really has no hop bite either, just a slight bitterness. That may be due to the alcohol (but it is only 4.6%), as there seems to be nothing left in maltiness or residual sugars. There is a hint of maybe orange peel but just a hint. 2.5 = poor
Body is thin and watery. Some hint of buttery smoothness as it warms, but too lean for me. 2.5 = poor
Overall a disappointment. I was expecting a lot more wheat freshness and a bit of esters. 2.75 = poor

Poured from a 12oz bottle into a spiegelau wheat beer glass.
The look is light straw colored with a medium haze. I left the bottom sip in the bottle to not pour all the yeast in my drink. Some solid yeast particles floating. One finger head quickly disappears to a ring around the glass. Very light carbonation.
Smell is a bit tart and funky. Some citrus notes here, also seems a bit skunky? Maybe it's just me but its light and funky. Lots of fermentation here.
Flavor makes things make sense. Lots of citrus notes that compliment the nose quite well. Almost lemony, quite dry with a slight bitterness. Surprisingly smooth and I'm assuming the fruit flavors are the yeast and it works quite well.
Feel is quite smooth if not thin. A good summer beer here for sure lots of refreshment to be had. Seems to fit the purity law, but the lemon notes are strong in this one. Has some witbeer properties.
Overall very interesting a bit funky and not at all like a hefeweizen. Less hazy, less malty, and more bright in every way. Very interesting take on a wheat beer. Easy drinking easy street. Alright.

Light brown to pale, basic (but very drinkable), American-style wheat ale. Moving from the east coast, I sorely missed my beloved Yuengling traditional lager and sought a replacement. This and Sierravesa Nevada were the closest I could find. balanced hop/malt ratio, very mild if any aftertaste. It's nothing special flavor-wise, but it's a great go-to beer.
