A: Pours a rich amber color with a creamy head that fades to lacing.

S: Mild aroma of roasted malt with some spice and herbs and a bit of sweetness.

T: Has a nice caramel taste up front with a nice bit of citrus. There is a nice bitterness and a clean finish.

F: Medium body, smooth and creamy, very well balanced.

O: Very easy drinker. Excellent take on an amber beer. Well worth checking out.

3/4 head with thin retention and nice lacing on a cloudy, crimson with golden hues body.

S: fruit, mostly a little red apple and fig.

T: apple and fig with a sweet caramel malt backbone. Earthy notes.

M: moderate carbonation and medium body with a mild oily feel. No off-putting aftertaste.

Overall a smooth very tastey amber which is different enough to set it apart from other ambers but still doesn't lose its identity as an amber ale.

Note: This review was a re-post from my former account, jmkratt, which was hacked and I lost all my reviews...sorry for the redundancy.

Poured from 12oz bottle to pint glass.

A - Light amber color with a 2 finger off white head with lacing that coats the glass.

S - A little cpied blended with a ton of toasted caramel malt aroma. Somewhat earthy and nutty, quite good.

T/M - The beer hits with a sweet caramel malt up front. The middle is filled with bitterness from the jops and a creamy mouthfeel. The beer finishes mild and smooth with a touch of carbonation with a hint of fruity notes.

D - The most drinkable amber I've had.

Overall this beer is very very good and deserves more recognition that the other highly touted Amber of Fort Collins. I'd prefer this to a Fat Tire any day of any week. Outstanding beer.

Pours a burnt golden with a nice white head a solid lacing. Aroma is nice and doughy bready, a touch of honey, caramel, a touch of toffee, and a slight kiss of hops in the finish providing some crispness to it. Flavor pretty much follows suit. A medium to thicker mouthfeel, not too much activity. Overall, a very nice beer indeed. Probably my favorite amber.

Pours a hazy copper color with a small, frothy white head that leaves little bits of lacing.

Smells of toasted malt with a touch of hops.

Tastes of the malt notes combined with a light hop presence. Notes of toasted bread, brown sugar, and some grainy sweetness as well. Hops have an earthy notion to them, but are fairly understated. Finishes fairly clean.

Mouthfeel is light with a small amount of carbonation that gives a bit of a watery feel.

Overall, I feel like this is just an okay beer and could definitely be improved upon.

a pretty light amber. smells like caramel and toffee and amber malts. a little sweeter hop essence, but this is more of a malt showcase. its nice to have an amber thats tame like this. its drinkable and not at all filling. flavor is solid, not too rich, but interesting in the mouth. good carbonation, medium body. good session amber, nothing incredibily original here, but another fine product from odell. they can do no wrong in my mind

This is one dangerously drinkable brew.

It keeps an egg-white head that quickly thins to lacings, which crowns Levity's hazy amber color. It smells sweet and malty, with a little bit of fruit.

While no flavors stick out in this beer, it's very smooth. The hops and malts balance well and give a little bitter punch at the end, but nothing lingers. I think I got some citrus in there, but that could be the hops.

It was kind of difficult to review this beer, since every time I took a sip it just kind of slid down the back of my throat. It's pleasant while it's in your mouth, but it doesn't leave a trace once it leaves. Perfect session beer.
