Pours transparent black, leaving little head. After a few sips, it looks completely flat. Not even a ring of foam.
Smells pretty good, with bitter chocolate up front.
Taste consistent with the smell. it is refreshing, suprisingly so for a porter. Some sort of hop balance makes the whole drink remain clean.
Mouthfeel is a bit creamy at first, and dissipates to thin oil.
The finish has a nice clean hoppy snap. chocolate remains after the drink, but the aftertaste is balanced with the hop cleanliness. a few sedonds later, there is no aftertaste.
It is somewhat thin bodied, but not bad.
this is an interesting brew worth trying. It's clean finish makes it quite drinkable.
