Pours very dark red-brown color with a small, instantly disappearing beige head, seems quite fizzy too leaving a nice sugary layer on the glass. Aroma has milky chocolate, some fruity dark malts and caramel. Flavor is quite chocolaty too, faint vanilla, caramel malts and lingering fruitiness on the finish. Strong carbonation, creamy, roasty, sugary and chocolaty palate. Could have been a bit heavier on the body and a bit less carbonated, still quite nice though.

Dusting out the old stash, found another one of these tucked away from a few months back.
Pours a very deep black/brown, doesn't let much light through at all. Foams a rich chocolaty brown head and dissipates down pretty quickly.
Smells of chocolate, what can I say? Not a sweet sweet chocolate but a run of the mill sort of dark chocolate with some sweetness. A char smell to it with hints of vanilla and a bit of caramel malt. You get almost an herbal hop mixed into the blend. Pretty nice and quite inviting. Reminds me a tad of chalky cocoa.
Taste is reminiscent of malted milk balls with the milk chocolate over it. Isn't super sweet which is nice and chocolate is well blended with this roasty character and a hint of booze. A fair amount of dry caramel and vanilla. A touch of coffee.
Mouthfeel is smooth and a bit warming from the booze. I would place it in the medium to slightly above range on weight. A creamy sort of characteristic with a hint of dry chalkiness.
Overall, pretty nice. Not the best chocolate stout in my opinion, but definitely one of the better ones that has an actual milk chocolate taste to it and is balanced with a perfect amount of sweetness. I could sit around on a cold winters night and drink a couple no problem. It's smooth and pleasant and not pushy, definitely worth a try... and in a try I mean you might as well buy a four pack.
