Tree Shaker Imperial Peach IPA has roots right here in Colorado. We balanced familiar citrusy hop notes with the subtle sweetness of local peaches. You might say we gave both the tree and the style a playful little shake.

Firkin at Alefort, courtesy of Bier:Thirty. Not very peachy at all, and also doesn’t come off as a DIPA. Hides the ABV well, fruit doesn’t overpower, but temperes the hops a lot.

"Best by 5/17/17"; drank 2/18/17 @ the Yarchives.
See-through orange appearance.
A violent pour yielded a big, noisy off-white head; a curtain of frothy lace.
Cane sugar, peach candy & dry wheat notes in the nose.
Medium thin mouthfeel.
Peach candy & dry wheat flavors up front; dill pickle notes on the finish. No booze heat.
Not terrible, but certainly not for me. I've had my last.

Finally got my hands on this seasonal release, available in the springtime. It's interesting, because some sips taste hoppier while others bring out the sweeter peach notes. On balance, it's a pretty good beer, as you get some of each taste without either of them dominating. The smell is a bit stronger than the actual taste, and I would not have guessed it was an 8% beer, as it seems a lot lighter than that. This is a nice addition to the variety of IPAs that everyone, including Odell, seems to be making these days, and kudos to them for using local ingredients as well.
