Poured from a 12 oz bottle into a pint.
A: Hazy, light golden hue. Pours a 2 finger, foamy, white head. Settles slowly. Continually rising effervescence visible. Thick beer ring lacing.
S: Yeast, freshly cut grass, and lemon zest.
T: Sourdough bread, with a bit of lemon citrus, seltzer water, and coriander.
M: Light body, earthy bitterness in the finish.
D: Session.... read the label.
Atmosphere is pretty good. Foamy head and plenty of lacing. Yeasty and grassy with a little citrus in the nose. Pungent bready flavor accentuated with citrus and coriander. A bit of a carbonated water character. Overall, this is a pretty good quaff.

12 oz bottle. Pours clear yellow with a big fluffy white head that retains well and laces the glass.
The aroma is bready malts with some grassy, fruity, spicy hops.
The flavor is bready biscuity malts with some fruity grassy hops. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with smooth carbonation.
Overall, a nice session pale.

Serving glass: Poured from bottle into Imperial Pint.
Appearance: Clear straw yellow with nice initial head that disappears too quickly. Who the hell entered this as an Amber?
Smell: Tropical and floral hop notes with some toast and biscuit.
Taste: The aroma didn't quite translate over to the taste. More grassy and floral than tropical, although there is a titch of that. Malt profile of toast, biscuit and tea. Light spiciness on the finish.
Feel: Moderate carbonation with a paper thin body. Does not have the firm mouthfeel that a great bitter does and just seems thin. But it is dry and crisp.
Overall: Crisp and refreshing, but is not as good as the recent Session beers by Surly, Lagunitas, Brau Brothers, Founders and Deschutes.

Poured into snifter from 12 oz bottle
A - poured a hazy golden color, minimal head and lacing
S - got a little breadiness to go with a slight piney hop aroma. Also lemon and a hay-like aroma come through
T - still get some lemon zest taste and straw-like flavor that follow the nose. Nice hop balance, not bitter at all. A little maltiness as well
M - very light and well balanced. Slight crispness to it. Definitely one of those for a hot summer day after a day working in the yard.
O - not typically my beer style of choice but can't exactly knock back a few Imperial stouts after yardwork. As far as what I wanted out of this beer, it pretty much hit the mark. Would definitely have again.

Best before 9-10-13. Served cold into a pint glass.
Loose Leaf is a very pale golden yellow color with thin head that settles quickly.
Aroma is slightly hoppy over a mildly sweet light malt base.
Flavor is similar with a light and easy malt body and a family friendly hop character. It's almost like a St. Lupulin with 1/4 of the hops. Maybe 1/8.
Mouthfeel is light bodied and easy drinking.
Overall a solid session beer. This is a beer that me and my father-in-law would both enjoy despite our hop preferences being miles apart.

BBD of 10/2/13
Pours a bright & effervescent straw color with a thumb of pearl white head. Good head retention & average lacing
S: Bready, hay notes, plus lemongrass
T: Follows the nose, grassiness, plus faint floral & lemon hop notes. Citrus hoppyness picks up as this warms, some faint graininess, plus grassiness as this warms. Finishes crisp, lemony & slightly doughy
MF: Light bodied, lively carbonation
Very refreshing, not complex to really get me too excited but a nice summer time thirst quencher
