Odell is my favorite brewery, and I'll drink anything they make. Luckily I can find most of their stuff in my local stores, and if I get desperate I am fortunate enough to live within driving distance of Ft. Collins, so I'm good to go. These folks know what they're doing, and as they turn 25 this year, I am excited to see what is coming in the future.

If Odell releases a new beer, you can bet I buy it within a week of its release. The brewery's year-round offerings are regularly making their way into my fridge. This is one of the breweries that does little wrong, pumping out quality brews continuously and always finding ways to be creative and interesting in their offerings.

At the brewery, I was able to order a flight of about 6 beers for $8. Pours seemed to be about four ounces, but I don't quite recall. As I usually do, I ordered a bunch of the seasonal and more exclusive beers that I wouldn't find back in New Mexico. This meant I got a pour of a gose, chocolate milk stout, keller pils (all which I've never seen outside of the brewery), plus the Trellis, Double Pilsner, and Myrcenary DIPA (all of which make their way to stores in NM). It was an exceptional lineup and exemplary of the range of beers that Odell produces. You get traditional German beers, Belgian brews, and beers reimagined or given the American touch. But the result is always great if not spectacular.

Odell's space was open and spacious, including a large outdoor area with some grass that conveniently became the play area for my child and a number of other cool parent's kids. A food truck was on hand serving some delicious sandwiches and bites, and there was a stage and cornhole setup for those looking for some entertainment. An awesome touch were the firepits that must be a great place to gather in the colder months when you want to hang around, talk shit, and still have a good beer in your hand. I think I'd be hanging out here in the dead of winter if I lived in Fort Collins. Disclaimer: I have no idea how cold it gets here, so maybe I'd retract that statement after freezing my wee wee off trying to coolly sip a brew on a January night.

I'd say New Belgium has better gear and schwag than Odell, but when it comes to the brews, I'd say only La Folie and Le Terroir from NB are in Odell's league. On space, both are about neck-and-neck.

Service-wise, I'd say both have a few too many uppity white folk that for some reason chose to work in the service industry but seem perturbed about serving certain folk, particularly those for whom they can not seem to disguise their apparent contempt.

In the end though, beer triumphs and much I can overlook for the sake of the perfection this place produces.

The flights of six samplers are a real tasty deal. They give you a good chance to sample before you decide what to fill your growler with.

Atmosphere is pretty damn good, reasonable volume music that doesn't totally suck (ie. they left the country and crap-pop at home and brought some reasonable rock and motown).

Service pretty good. They do aim to please, and appeared to be well staffed enough (except no table service, but that ain't the staff's fault).

Selection pretty damn good, although most are stuff you can get in any liquor store that's worth its salt. Some stuff that's not generally available tho.

After spending the day in Ft Collins for some volunteering, we decided to finally check out Odell on our way back to Cheyenne. When we arrived it wasn't too busy yet, so we got great seats out on the patio.

Great environment. A food truck called Common Link was serving some amazing food. Had Lugene Nitro on tap, which was amazing, and Footprint, which was also very good. Loved the experience, and will certainly go back.

Well I'm sure I can't pull 250 words together for Odell. I love this place would probably do just fine. ALL the best beers in Fort Collins a great new patio. With a fire pit and some of the best food trucks in town. $1 oysters on Thursdays form Jax Old Town Peral and Common Link on the weekends. If I have a beer on tap at home it's normally from these guys. SUCH good beer a must try for anyone in Colorado.

If the food trucks are out this place is heaven, if they're not, its only just slightly less perfect. They're the best brewery in Northern Colorado in my book. The beers are superb and it seems like they've always got something new going on as a local collab, if you're in FC go here.

Odell's rocks my world! They are, and will always be, in my top 3 favorite breweries ever. They're all about the beer, and it definitely shows. Mountain Standard (a winter-seasonal double black IPA is, hands down, my favorite beer and the only reason I tolerate winter in Colorado). Myrcernary, an imperial IPA packs a punch, both in flavor and in ABV and perfectly showcases Colorado hops and Odells' ability to make a strong, yet drinkable beer. I would live here if I could, seriously.

Is this heaven? Yes! This place is hands down my favorite brewery in Colorado. The consistency and quality of the beer is the best I've ever had. The tap room has the happiest employees I've ever met. This is the best place to have a perfect beer and meet the friendliest people. Drink up!

Right down the street from New Belgium. I liked the atmosphere at NB better but this place has better beer. I would recommend getting a flight or two, depending on how many people you are with. I was with four people and we purchased 3 different flights and shared so we cold sample as many beers as possible. I thought the Nitro Cut Throat Porter was the best beer. My wife is a hop head so we purchased a growler of the 5 Barrel Pale Ale to take with us.

Really love coming to O'Dells for their release parties, and the three options they have for sampler trays really give the beer drinker of any experience level something exciting and engaging. Recently they've redone their patio, adding an awesome gas fireplace and a stage. Can't wait until it warms up again and I can thoroughly enjoy the live music and world-class brews. Always something interesting on the rotating taps (A wild fermented mash that's allowed to fester? Yes, please) and on the weekends there's usually one of Fort Collins many awesome food trucks there for the drunchies. By far the best larger brewery I've been to. GO!

Odell's popular brewery has gone through a couple of facelifts since I first walked through its doors a few years ago. Its original tap room has expanded with more tables and booths, a larger merchandise area, a redone, attractive walk-in hallway, and an outdoor patio that now stretches to two sides of the building. The public parking lot is now on the opposite side of the building and expanded with newer, larger bike racks, shaped in the Odell-logo leaf.

What was already a fantastic brewery to visit is now even better, with the occasional food truck, live music, and a constant, bustling crowd. Odell has always had a generous supply of beers, from their standard selection, to a rotating and seasonal pilot menu, to their limited and special brews. The staff is friendly and fast, even when there's a sizable line, which there often is.

It also has one of the more ideal non-Old Town locations, centered among a number of other breweries and within long walking or short bike riding distance of New Belgium, Fort Collins, Funkwerks as well as the Old Town breweries Coopersmith's, Equinox, and Pateros Creek. It's a Fort Collins standby and is not to be missed for any beer lovers.

biked over to Odell from the Ft Collins bike library - a really gorgeous facility from the exterior.

It was a nice (read: blazing sun, bone-dry air) day in Fort Collins so we enjoyed the expansive patio area. All beers were served in large branded goblets.

I'm a little torn on Odell - I like most of their beer, but I don't really love any of it. That sentiment was definitely true on this visit as well.

Regardless, an enjoyable experience. There was a really fantastic food truck on the grounds as well. Definitely check out "The Goodness" - they have a freaking big green egg in the truck for crying out loud

I spent so many Friday evenings here during my years in Fort Collins- before, during, and after the expansion/remodel. It is hands down my favorite brewery to visit. Very comfortable and relaxed atmosphere, always a wide array of incredible beers on tap. I used to obsess over the IPA on nitro. Also, the small batch fest (which was a little out of control the last couple of times I went) was always one of the highlights of my year. Great beer, great atmosphere. I love Odell and miss it everyday.

- Have been here many times and bar none favorite brewery in Fort Collins- (Funkwerks second). High quality beer, to which one of the best in the state. Only drawback had bad experience with one of the retail peeps; sent me to the back of line cuz she thought I cut. I certainly didn't and one of her co-worker rectified by giving free beer tokens :). Overall undoubtedly will not be disappointed.

I love this place.

The atmosphere is great: inside and outside seating; different sized tables to accommodate different sizes of parties. Music on Wednesdays. The feel is a quintessential micropub, and something many others ought to strive for.

Service is great - everybody here is friendly and patient.

Selection is great - lots on tap, and lots rotating. They actually still test pilots here, getting feedback from the customers: the way it should be. Lots of fun to be a part of.

Quality is remarkable. They produce consistently good beer, obviously taking quality control and recipe-building into deep consideration.

Thanks for being great, Odell Brewing.

A- great atmosphere plenty of seating great people with great beers in a great city

Q- Honestly my favorite brewery in Colorado, everything sold in that tap room is of the highest quality

S- the service was above average, the Saturday I was there the tap room was slammed and i still only waited about 5 minutes for a flight. the following Sunday morning during an epic snow storm we were the only ones there so that provided an awesome opportunity to talk with the staff where i received at Pliny the younger tapping tip (thanks again guys!!)

Se- the selection was excellent many beers on tap several that you can not get outside the brewery some of my favorites at the time were the wooden side care and pina agria

F- Now Odell's doesn't have food that they make but common link food truck is parked out back quite frequently and let me tell ya those guys can make some amazing grub. the poutine is a must try

V- well i guess the value is what you place your values on, the tap room was pricey paid 21 bucks for a 32 oz fill of wooden sidecar but how can you put a price on perfection. ended up bringing 96oz of wooden sidecar back to steamboat. so value was great imo if you are in colorado there is no reason to not go to this brewery.

I hit Odell with close friends Andy & Dan on a day trip to Fort Collins. Seriously such an awesome brewery, definitely one of my favorites. Very wide selection of beers I'd never had before aside from what they normally carried at the downtown Denver local liquor store.

I tried the DeConstruction Ale (super high ABV, close to 10 I believe- and excellent), but being the dark sponge that I am, ended up with the Cutthroat Porter (we only stayed for one since we were brewery hopping).

The atmosphere was lovely, it was freezing outside (January in Colorado- duh) and they offered us coffee. The artwork for Odell is really neat and they had a ton of it hanging out around the brewery. I will say that it seemed TOO big but they kept a humble feel regardless of all that space. Very knowledgeable team and I'll definitely be making a trip out to Fort Collins when I'm back in Colorado solely to visit Odell again.

This is our second trip to Odell Brewing. We got here at 6PM the other day and it was closed already. There is a patio out front so I think you could bring a well-behaved pooch. My dog is kenneled to make it easier to see some breweries on my list. Besides, it looks like rain.

It looks like a modern ski lodge and there is expansion going on. I don't see a food truck and they don't serve food. Everybody is getting flights and I buck the system and get a Myrcenary IPA. I've had it before in a bottle. There aren't any servers so I get my beer at the bar. The bartender is fast enough but doesn't want to talk even though it's not busy at the time. The beer is $4 and I put a dollar in the jar. As we take a seat, he is just standing there. I say not friendly at all for a bartender. My friend urges me to take the tour and there is space so I go for it. The tour is 20 minutes and it is not really informative. If you come here skip the tour.

The expansion is for beer production and there are not plans to serve food. Someone asks if there are plans to can beer since cans are recyclable and in some ways a better package. The guided basically says mining isn't very environmentally friendly. That created a little talk from some visitors. After the tour, we received about 2 oz. of a milk stout. I really wanted to see this brewery and made a second trip up from Denver but I couldn't recommend it.

So excited to get to visit this place on our quick stop in Fort Collins. Can't wait to get back for a longer visit.

This place is almost certainly the largest tasting room I have been in. Several long tables inside, copious outdoor seating, well appointed, bright and clean. Well organized too with flights of standard and experimental beers. We only had time for a quick stop so the four of us split one tray of each sampler. Odell is, I think, my top brewery that does not distribute to PA yet. This visit reinforced that opinion. What a great lineup of beers.

The best brewery to visit in Fort Collins. The tap room is massive and has a very clean look. Expect about 18-20 beers on tap to sample. All very good. At worst, you’ll have a solid beer. There’s always beer to try from the pilot system, which is a neat feature. The brewery offers a few snack foods, but a food truck does sit outside. Well worth your time to stop by if you’re in town. Wasn’t terribly crowded during the day, which made for an even better experience out on the patio.

My wife and I visited Colorado on our honeymoon and I wanted to try beer not available to us in Ohio. ODell was my choice for that, and I am happy that this was what we picked. The brewpub was modern, well lit and had plenty of room for the patrons. The beers were all good (my wife and I went with two samplers, then I had a pint that we didn't have on the samplers). I didn't get a completely accurate count of handles but it was in the neighborhood of 18.

The service was great and the staff were all friendly. They were more than happy to answer all my beer questions and discuss my selection. We did not go there hungry, and they did not have their own food available but there was a guy out front operating a taco stand. Overall, both my wife and I were very happy we stopped here, and I wish we got their stuff in Ohio.

Nice size tasting room with many tables surrounding the bar. They even have a little area where a small band can play. Also have a cooler with special to go bottles and the "normal" stuff

I had the higher AbV sampler tray which was all the specialties. They were all either good, above average or awesome; no duds. Service was quite pleasant and very helpful with selections. Definitely worth a stop for the great casual atmosphere and their specialty offerings you can get in the stores or cost twice as much in the store.

This is my favorite brewery. I go here every chance I get. Anytime I fly back home to see family I try to make the trek. You gotta love the 90 Shilling, Cutthroat Porter, Levity, but my overall favorite to come out of Odell has to be the Footprint RegionAle. Just a perfect balance of barley, honey, hops, and all the regional ingredients.

They have an excellent tasting room, with plenty of space so you never feel cramped. The guys that run the tour are very knowledgeable and open to questions (not mindless robots). Best of all they pour you a beer before the tour not like most that make you wait to taste. I finished my beer (cuz its so good) by the time we got to fermentation so the guide told me to go back and get another and catch up. Amazing micro brewery, I wish all the best for these guys.

Great location to drink. The tour of the facility was the best I have had. The staff are tremendously helpful, knowledgable and friendly. They have a very streamlined process for ordering and paying, their sampler had an incredible display of their range. The bourbon barrel aged beer you got to try for free on the tour was fantastic. I could easily spend the whole day in their trying everything they had on tap and probably not be able to try them all.

I highly recommend visiting this brewery, it was fun and educational. I wish I could get their beer out on the East Coast.

This is one of the best breweries in the state.
With so many craft breweries popping up all over Colorado, these guys just seem to brew only great beers.
When I am in Fort Collins, I always make my way to Odell's.
I heard they are doing another expansion, to make the tap room even bigger with and outside stage area and really making the experience better, the only complaint I could possibly have is when they are having an event, it can get a little too crowded. But as far as the beer goes, it absolutely the best I have tried.
It is must go to if you are anywhere in Colorado.
