I love this place.

The atmosphere is great: inside and outside seating; different sized tables to accommodate different sizes of parties. Music on Wednesdays. The feel is a quintessential micropub, and something many others ought to strive for.

Service is great - everybody here is friendly and patient.

Selection is great - lots on tap, and lots rotating. They actually still test pilots here, getting feedback from the customers: the way it should be. Lots of fun to be a part of.

Quality is remarkable. They produce consistently good beer, obviously taking quality control and recipe-building into deep consideration.

Thanks for being great, Odell Brewing. (664 characters)

A- great atmosphere plenty of seating great people with great beers in a great city

Q- Honestly my favorite brewery in Colorado, everything sold in that tap room is of the highest quality

S- the service was above average, the Saturday I was there the tap room was slammed and i still only waited about 5 minutes for a flight. the following Sunday morning during an epic snow storm we were the only ones there so that provided an awesome opportunity to talk with the staff where i received at Pliny the younger tapping tip (thanks again guys!!)

Se- the selection was excellent many beers on tap several that you can not get outside the brewery some of my favorites at the time were the wooden side care and pina agria

F- Now Odell's doesn't have food that they make but common link food truck is parked out back quite frequently and let me tell ya those guys can make some amazing grub. the poutine is a must try

V- well i guess the value is what you place your values on, the tap room was pricey paid 21 bucks for a 32 oz fill of wooden sidecar but how can you put a price on perfection. ended up bringing 96oz of wooden sidecar back to steamboat. so value was great imo if you are in colorado there is no reason to not go to this brewery. (1,246 characters)

I hit Odell with close friends Andy & Dan on a day trip to Fort Collins. Seriously such an awesome brewery, definitely one of my favorites. Very wide selection of beers I'd never had before aside from what they normally carried at the downtown Denver local liquor store.

I tried the DeConstruction Ale (super high ABV, close to 10 I believe- and excellent), but being the dark sponge that I am, ended up with the Cutthroat Porter (we only stayed for one since we were brewery hopping).

The atmosphere was lovely, it was freezing outside (January in Colorado- duh) and they offered us coffee. The artwork for Odell is really neat and they had a ton of it hanging out around the brewery. I will say that it seemed TOO big but they kept a humble feel regardless of all that space. Very knowledgeable team and I'll definitely be making a trip out to Fort Collins when I'm back in Colorado solely to visit Odell again. (916 characters)

This is our second trip to Odell Brewing. We got here at 6PM the other day and it was closed already. There is a patio out front so I think you could bring a well-behaved pooch. My dog is kenneled to make it easier to see some breweries on my list. Besides, it looks like rain.

It looks like a modern ski lodge and there is expansion going on. I don't see a food truck and they don't serve food. Everybody is getting flights and I buck the system and get a Myrcenary IPA. I've had it before in a bottle. There aren't any servers so I get my beer at the bar. The bartender is fast enough but doesn't want to talk even though it's not busy at the time. The beer is $4 and I put a dollar in the jar. As we take a seat, he is just standing there. I say not friendly at all for a bartender. My friend urges me to take the tour and there is space so I go for it. The tour is 20 minutes and it is not really informative. If you come here skip the tour.

The expansion is for beer production and there are not plans to serve food. Someone asks if there are plans to can beer since cans are recyclable and in some ways a better package. The guided basically says mining isn't very environmentally friendly. That created a little talk from some visitors. After the tour, we received about 2 oz. of a milk stout. I really wanted to see this brewery and made a second trip up from Denver but I couldn't recommend it. (1,405 characters)

So excited to get to visit this place on our quick stop in Fort Collins. Can't wait to get back for a longer visit.

This place is almost certainly the largest tasting room I have been in. Several long tables inside, copious outdoor seating, well appointed, bright and clean. Well organized too with flights of standard and experimental beers. We only had time for a quick stop so the four of us split one tray of each sampler. Odell is, I think, my top brewery that does not distribute to PA yet. This visit reinforced that opinion. What a great lineup of beers.

The best brewery to visit in Fort Collins. The tap room is massive and has a very clean look. Expect about 18-20 beers on tap to sample. All very good. At worst, you’ll have a solid beer. There’s always beer to try from the pilot system, which is a neat feature. The brewery offers a few snack foods, but a food truck does sit outside. Well worth your time to stop by if you’re in town. Wasn’t terribly crowded during the day, which made for an even better experience out on the patio. (493 characters)

My wife and I visited Colorado on our honeymoon and I wanted to try beer not available to us in Ohio. ODell was my choice for that, and I am happy that this was what we picked. The brewpub was modern, well lit and had plenty of room for the patrons. The beers were all good (my wife and I went with two samplers, then I had a pint that we didn't have on the samplers). I didn't get a completely accurate count of handles but it was in the neighborhood of 18.

The service was great and the staff were all friendly. They were more than happy to answer all my beer questions and discuss my selection. We did not go there hungry, and they did not have their own food available but there was a guy out front operating a taco stand. Overall, both my wife and I were very happy we stopped here, and I wish we got their stuff in Ohio. (828 characters)

Nice size tasting room with many tables surrounding the bar. They even have a little area where a small band can play. Also have a cooler with special to go bottles and the "normal" stuff

I had the higher AbV sampler tray which was all the specialties. They were all either good, above average or awesome; no duds. Service was quite pleasant and very helpful with selections. Definitely worth a stop for the great casual atmosphere and their specialty offerings you can get in the stores or cost twice as much in the store. (524 characters)

This is my favorite brewery. I go here every chance I get. Anytime I fly back home to see family I try to make the trek. You gotta love the 90 Shilling, Cutthroat Porter, Levity, but my overall favorite to come out of Odell has to be the Footprint RegionAle. Just a perfect balance of barley, honey, hops, and all the regional ingredients.

They have an excellent tasting room, with plenty of space so you never feel cramped. The guys that run the tour are very knowledgeable and open to questions (not mindless robots). Best of all they pour you a beer before the tour not like most that make you wait to taste. I finished my beer (cuz its so good) by the time we got to fermentation so the guide told me to go back and get another and catch up. Amazing micro brewery, I wish all the best for these guys. (806 characters)

Great location to drink. The tour of the facility was the best I have had. The staff are tremendously helpful, knowledgable and friendly. They have a very streamlined process for ordering and paying, their sampler had an incredible display of their range. The bourbon barrel aged beer you got to try for free on the tour was fantastic. I could easily spend the whole day in their trying everything they had on tap and probably not be able to try them all.

I highly recommend visiting this brewery, it was fun and educational. I wish I could get their beer out on the East Coast. (580 characters)

This is one of the best breweries in the state.
With so many craft breweries popping up all over Colorado, these guys just seem to brew only great beers.
When I am in Fort Collins, I always make my way to Odell's.
I heard they are doing another expansion, to make the tap room even bigger with and outside stage area and really making the experience better, the only complaint I could possibly have is when they are having an event, it can get a little too crowded. But as far as the beer goes, it absolutely the best I have tried.
It is must go to if you are anywhere in Colorado. (581 characters)

This brewery is one that should be bigger and more known. It's quaint in size, but they're known for their massive hoppy beers. I had the pleasure of living a couple miles away, and I miss it everyday. I had many fun, memorable days playing corn hole, drinking delicious brews, hanging with good, real people, and watching Odell grow in popularity in the short time I lived in FoCo. I can't wait to go back. Maybe someday they'll ship out here to Florida... In terms of food, they always seem to have "Jax Seafood" tent setup outside. The seafood is quality for being in Colorado, but I'm from the beach, I have had some of the best and most fresh seafood around. So I am a little biased. IPA, Myrcenary, Cutthroat Porter, Wooden Elephant (when available), St. Lupulin are just a few of the must try beers. (806 characters)

Caught this place on an afternoon when it was the finish line of a bike race so the atmosphere was festive and the place was hopping. It is fairly large place which suited the day well. Despite it being so busy, the service was outstanding and the servers were great. The service was quick at the bar and at table. The staff is very knowledgeable and took time with the customers even with how busy it was. The beers are fantastic, as well. They have all types to fit a variety of beer tastes. Can't say enough good things about the place. Enjoyed the afternoon I spent there thoroughly and will definitely make it a point to hit this place again next time I'm in Fort Collins. (677 characters)

Next stop, Odell. Unlike New Belgium, parking is plentiful, even during the week of Great American Beer Festival. Delivery trucks sporting the Odell logo sit above the parking lot, perched on a hill. A winding sidewalk leads the way into the taproom and brewery.

No surprise, the place was busy. One of the first things you come across when you enter is the line to order your beer. It's nice to see there's a formal place to make your order (unlike New Belgium) and collect your order on the other side of the bar. And it's very organized too, as multiple pick-up stations prevent orders from being mixed up, so props to Odell for developing an unorthodox (yet very workable) model for service.

20 different beers on-tap, plus a cask. Variety is the key, as it ranges from year round beers (Easy Street Wheat, Cutthroat Porter, Odell IPA) to more experimental beers (Meddler, Bourbon Porter, Proletarat). With pints starting at $4 (and available in pre-set flights and half-pints), it makes trying the entire family a lot easier.

There's no food served on sight unless you're lucky enough to catch a food truck. We were lucky to catch a Naples-styled pizzeria cooking on sight, which aided in the absorption of alcohol.

I'm unable to purchase Odell in California, so I was very happy to visit and sample what I can't. Arguably one of the most underrated production breweries in the country, in my opinion, and a must visit. (1,432 characters)

Stopped here while in Colorado for work. Actually, made it a destination. OK, I'll be truthful, I orchestrated the whole "work trip" just to visit Odell. I had recently been introduced to Odell by the recommendation of a co-worker while in Missouri, as sadly, Odell is not available in most states to which I travel.

First Odell I tried was Myrcenary- double IPA. Absolutely AWESOME! I knew at that first sip, I must go to this place they call "Odell". Very cool atmosphere, very nice, inviting interior with ample seating. I brought along my 2 year old daughter (designated driver) and my lady friend, and we had a great time. They had some live music outside and it was just a cool vibe. Very friendly staff.

Food was sparse, though I'll admit I can't remember the whole small menu, we just grabbed some chips and salsa to munch on. Salsa was awesome by the way. Beer was phenomenal, had Myrcenary and the porter. (OK, a few Myrcenary's). I should have done a flight or two since I am relatively new to this company, but next time.

They close kind of early also, like 7 PM on the Saturday we were there. Actually was "prompted" to move along a little after 7. Not a deal breaker, but I would have liked to hang longer.

Worth a stop if you are in Ft. Collins. Worth a drive if you are anywhere near this place. I can't wait to go back. (1,342 characters)

Great wide open space with retail merchandise to your right when you walk in. Outside area was packed the day I was there very nice day outside who could blame them. The cashiers are in the front of the bar with the taps on the left side. You order from the cashier who are very helpful then you pick the beer sample up at the end of the bar.
They had self help water cooler with plastic cups to help clean your palate. I also ordered local brie cheese and crackers I wish the cheese wasn't so cold took a while to warm up so you could spread it with plastic knive.
Odell's main stay beer are good which I had a sample of all of them but I tried another sample which they called the Co-Pilot Tray. Which has to be one of the best sampler I've had. St. Lupulian Extra Pale, Myrcenary Double IPA, Red Squared, Belgian Old Ale aged in oak and Xocolatl.
Overall a great visit. (875 characters)

A bright, open, clean joint. Laid back with a chill, positive vibe. The set up of ordering with a cashier and the collecting your order down the line was kinda odd but whatever. The service was solid, with the employees having a general handle of the beers on hand and ensured things went smoothly and quickly. Great selection, all the staples that they bottle plus around a ton of pilot brews that are only available there. Kinda pricey, I could actually buy a sixer of their beer cheaper at Target than at their taproom. Go figure. Overall, glad I went and I will definitely be back. (585 characters)

a place ive wanted to go for a long time. i was surprised by how big it is. really quite a large facility, good homestyle feel to it, but massive tasting room with some outside seating. only room for 2 on the tour by the time we arroved, so i let the out of staters go and enjoyed a pint of footloose on the back patio. lots of taps happening, with plenty on offer that doesnt get bottled. tasting flights were all good, but the serivce was not good. people seemed not to care, business minded, with nothing much to be excited about. come on, you have a sweeet job. my brother liked the tour and was impressed they let the employees brew on the smaller system experimentally. i love everything i had there, but paid a reasonably high price for it all. overall a place i will definitely be back to, and a brewery i will continue to support, but the tasting room experience was less than i had hoped for, mostly because of the people, not because of the brew. (957 characters)

Great place. Open and bright. Plenty of space inside with a range of table sizes and a wall of cool schwag. The outside space is nice too and it's a great place to hang out, have a beer in great weather, and play some cornhole. Nice view of the mountains. It can be bumping even on an early weekday afternoon with a fun mix of people - college kids to older folks. Beer is great obviously. All the usuals plus pilot beers and fun one-offs, even the occasional unique sour/wild ale. Oh, and a few fun things rotate through firkins. Well-staffed and everyone is in the know. Prices are awesome. Tourists will hit up New Belgium down the street (which is good too), but my pick is Odell all day. (692 characters)

Odell Brewing Company, Fort Collins. Tap room is very nice and wide open, merchandise on the side, lots of room to hang out. If it's not too cold out the patio is a great place to enjoy a beer and the Fort Collins weather. Beer quality is superb. Service is also superb. The staff is knowledgeable about all brews: standard line up and all the pilot brews. Firkin Wednesdays are a must. The most recent remodel really looks nice, notably the wooden walkway, and provides additional parking on the West side of the brewery. Aside from Stone it's the nicest brewery I've been to. Highly recommended. (597 characters)

I've had very little experience with Odell beers but I decided to check out the brewery while in the area on business.

I loved the atmosphere of the tap room. It's natural, comfortable, eclectic and relaxed yet impressive and inspiring. And the crowd seems much the same. I could really see stopping in regularly.

The service is outstanding. I asked for some recommendations on the samplers based on my love of hops. The guy gave me an honest assessment and threw in an extra to make it more hop oriented.

Odell's is a really fun place to stop in for a beer. I highly recommend it. (584 characters)

Pretty cool tasting room/merch locker for the brewery. Nice rustic atmosphere and often crowded. Hours are fairly short, so make sure you get there before 6 or 7... they generally close by 8. Beer selection was awesome. They offer many beers you cannot buy in stores and generally have a rotating firkin available. The tasters are amazingly reasonable in price and are a good selection of beers (I would suggest the pilot or co-pilot flights). Ordering is interesting... you have to go up front and then wait for your beer to be delivered to the "pick up" area. No servers, but goes pretty quick. Unfortunately there is no ordering a round for your friends as they only allow you one beer purchase per person at a time. If you like something that they bottle, you can pick it up straight from the cooler on your way out. (820 characters)

Took the free tour of the brewey after having some great pints of IPA and sesonal offerings in the tap room. plus you can take your beer with you on the tour!!!! very good info form the guide of the tour all the way though. got to smell the acutal hops they used and see the barrel aging room AWESOME! The canning line is very high tech and got to meet a couple of the brewers. They were droping small hints of what they were up to but would not give details. Cant wait to see what the spring line could be? Overall the hour trip up north was well worth it. left their with a growler of naked elephant and a bottle of avent pech' only about $20. (645 characters)

I've been here a many times but this is the first time in several years and the first time since they made the big expansion. The last time I had gone, it was still pretty quite, and they had just made the first expansion to the left. Man was I surprised when I pulled up to see what it has become. First off, it has to be the biggest tap room in Fort Collins. And it was packed. We are talking wall to wall. They had a small hippie rock band playing in the corner and I wish they hadn't, given that space to another couple tables. After ordering a couple beers and standing around for a while, we finally found ourselves a table. I really have to say, regardless of how full it is, I love this place. Their selection is always fantastic. They always have a handful of tap room only beers on, along with pretty much every beer they have out at that time. Between the group of us, we had Hiverano, Friek, Kentucky Standard, BB Oil Change stout and a couple others. Had Levity on nitro, which I think, is possibly the only nitro beer I enjoy. Great selection. I also picked up a growler of the Beet Porter and the Kentucky Standard. Like I said earlier, I love Odells. They just know how to do it right. (1,201 characters)

Was in Ft Collins this spring. Just having a chance to review some places now. In Ft Collins in is hard to name a better brewery than this one. The quality of all the beer we tried was very high. We were able to try about a half a dozen or so and there was not a dud in the bunch. We tried a specialty fruit beer which was very nice tasting had a pleasant finish. The building is very cool and has plenty of space in the tap room. Selection is excellent and staff is knowledgeable and interested. Arguably the best brewery in CO and one of the best in the country. (564 characters)
