Draft: Poured a deep amber color Kolsch(?) with a small foamy head with light retention and no lacing. Aroma of dry caramel malt with light butterscotch notes. Taste is also dominated by light butterscotch notes with some caramel malt also noticeable. Body is light with medium carbonation. A bit dark for a Kolsch but drinkable nonetheless.

I had this on tap at 45th street taphouse in Ocean City MD, served chilled in a pint.
5% 32 IBu as listed on the menu.

The color is golden with hased appearance and thick white cap with fine bead w/ thick lace sticking and visibly carbonated with good retention. The smell is slightly fruity and herbal with lots of diacetyl and nice golden toasted malt accent. The feel has a good balance of medium carbonation and lighly sweet body with low bitterness and semi-dry finish.

The taste is very good with tangy yeast in check with light herbal hop flavor and slightly diacetyl from the yeast in the middle with a mild alcohol flavor and mostly dry malt profile which is good with a subtle mineral quality. Overall this is a pleasant Kolsch, a bit flawed style wise but still drinkable ....the lager aspect you expect left something to be desired in this but the hop flavors help to cover that a little.

Had on tap at the brewery. Beer was light yellow in color with little to no head.

Smeel was not to strong, but got some sweatiness from it.

Taste was light, smooth, and crisp. I got a little bit of th sweatiness from the smell, but it was not to over powering.

Very refreshing beer that goes down easy could drink a few of these.

I should say that I am not typically a fan of the Koelsch style beer. Which is why I rate this one so high. It is extremely smooth and drinkable for a Koelsch. It possesses a nice golden color. I could have several servings of this beer on a hot day. Very enjoyable.
