A: Golden-bronze, white head, very little retention, initially a hint of lace.

S: Floral hops with a slight citrus aroma; bready malt.

T: Floral hops with a little orange/grapefruit citrus; bready malt with a little toffee sweetness; modest bitterness for balance.

M: Light to moderate body is smooth, moderate carbonation.

D: Probably a good 'gateway' beer.

A verbal and visual reference to Yaletown's Red Truck beer this is Matt's version of a hoppy session ale. The beer is mid to darkish gold with a full head. The nose is hops a plenty. The taste is well hopped , dryish (maybe a little too dry ) full bodied APA. I like this beer as a patio, among friends, burger, after work beer with just enough hops and body to provide interest ( kinda like Sierra Nevada though quite as refined. Buy by the sixer and enjoy.

Good amber-to-copper colour with a thin head that settles nicely. Decent malts in the nose, but the hops are certainly present. Leans more to the hoppy side, but not enough to be an IPA lite.

Excellent taste, the hops are really mellowed out by the malts. Toffee notes, with a definite hop zing and slight bitterness to it. Cascade hops are noticeable, but not overpowering.

Thought it was a bit overcarbonated, but otherwise pleasant to drink. Could be a good session ale.
