I stopped in with some coworkers for a beer and dinner. They have several VA beers on tap. I had the St George's Pilsner which was OK. They also offer several bottles including one from Stone. The atmosphere and the service were good but not enough to be a big factor.
The food is pretty solid. I had a Bison Burger and my friends had the ribs. We enjoyed both.
I wouldn't recommend this place specifically for beer (though I don't know of anything better in the area) but for a beer and a bite to eat, it's a solid option.

This converted railroad station sits by the James River in downtown Lynchburg. It's an attractive building with brick walls, timbers and high ceilings. There's an 8-mile hiking/biking trail that passes in front.
The beer selection is primarily regional beers including Blue Mountain and the Starr Brewery. Other Virginia beers are featured, both on-tap and in bottles. There's a small bar and a large dining area with big windows looking across the tracks to the river. It's a good space.
The menu has a lot to offer. I've enjoyed some of the pasta dishes and they have been willing to customize my meal. The fresh rolls are quite good.
The staff is friendly and service is quick.
I travel to Lynchburg on business and have eaten here six times so far. Try Blue Mountain's "Full Nelson" Pale Ale. It's been on-tap everytime I've visited and is quite tasty.
