Look: It pours orange with a white head. Head retention is very good.
Smell: There are aromas of peach and pepper with some earthly elements. There are some very low flowery elements.
Taste: Peach is the strongest flavors with yeasty elements blending in. It has spice of which pepper is the strongest with a bit of apricot in the background and a slight citrus character.
Feel: It has a medium body with smooth alcohol warming.
Overall, a great blend of flavors with the peach, which is not overdone, and tripel elements. For me, who like peaches and apricots, this is a wonderful, flavorful beer.

From a can into a draught glass. Pour had a quickly fading head with a hazy peach body -- makes sense as a peach tripel! Scent matches what one would expect -- a slightly boozy, somewhat peach-y aroma with lightly floral notes. Taste matches the scent almost to a T with the alcoholic esters and peach playing well off of each other. Feel is a bit on the lighter side from expectation with notes of peach and boozy esters in aftertaste. A solid, drinkable (maybe too drinkable) tripel!

On-tap at Hardwood Park Craft Brewery, Richmond, VA
A: The beer is very hazy yellow in color. It poured with a narrow collar of white bubbles around the edge of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of peaches are present in the nose.
T: The taste has flavors of peach juice.
M: It feels medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is all about the peaches and doesn't have any flavors of candi sugars or alcohol, the latter of which makes it quite easy to drink compared to other triples.
Serving type: on-tap

I don't see a bottle date listed on the bottle or the label.
The beer I am consuming is in a different label and bottle than what is listed. I have a 500mL bottle with low-sloped shoulders that roll off into the sides of the bottle in what appears to be an elongated pear or teardrop shape.
Appearance: The body is a hazy orange-beige color that is mostly opaque. It has a ridiculously good amount of visible carbonation near the edges where you can still see into the beer. It has a large, creamy, rocky, white head that fades out to a thin film across the surface of the beer. The head is still being fed by all of the carbonation but it isn't building or retaining a head. It looks nice at first and then it tapers off.
Aroma: It has an odd aroma. There is a bit of clove and it smells a bit like an old cellar. Although the beer touts itself as a 'Peach Tripel" it really doesn't smell like peaches and it doesn't smell much like a Tripel.
Taste: Up front there is a lot of bubblegum flavor. This is followed by a dry tartness after a sip of the beer. There is a lot of a sour flavor to the beer. There is this retronasal peach flavor that develops once one has left the beer for a bit.
Mouthfeel: It has this awkward tartness that is unexpected. This is followed by an odd herbal bitterness that is light but evident. It just doesn't work well.
Overall: This beer is all over the place. It doesn't taste like fresh peaches and perhaps it is infected? Perhaps the peaches have been left to ferment naturally before being added to this beer? It's hard to tell but it feels off. It has a lot of sour character and bubblegum. It doesn't taste like a Tripel but it has a lot of wild yeast character. If you favor farmhouse ales then you might end up being a fan of this beer because it really nails that. If you are a Belgian Beer fan then you might be left disappointed. It is always important to consider the brewer's intent and in this case the label says "ABBEY-STYLE TRIPEL ALE WITH PEACHES." It really doesn't feel like it embodies this statement. It's not a beer that makes me want to try it again and there's nothing here that makes me want to recommend it.
