Thanks Aaron for sharing this one!
Pours a hazy golden orange, ample foam and small arcs of lace around the edges.
Aroma is good, oaky vanilla is prominent, not getting much gin or cucumber.
Taste is great, lots of oaky vanilla and light bitter botanicals. Aftertaste of wheat and honey.
Feel is slightly astringent with an earthy bitterness that lingers.
Free range cucumbers make all the difference.

750 ml bottle into a tulip glass.
Pours a slightly hazy golden yellow, medium head with a ring of foamy cling throughout. Smell brings Belgian yeast. light malt, some cucumber, some gin. Taste follows the nose with the yeast and malt. More gin, less cucumber than the nose. It's a little sweet when it warms up, but not overly so. Smooth, dry, crisp, very refreshing.
A very flavorful and interesting offering. Also had this on tap, which is part of this review. Really no different. The gin and the cucumber are both fairly subtle, but the flavors work well together. Base saison is very good. Well worth a purchase.
