12oz brown bottle, sample from the brewery.
Bright yellow golden hue, good clarity. Head drops down the a thin ring of lace. A little funky in the nose, mild tartness with hints of dried tropical fruit, fallen apples, wood, and wild medicinal herbs. Ample crispness, moderate sized body. Quick flash of tartness, a little fruity with some mild musty cellar in the back. Woody, vinous, apple skin, and a hint of alcohol in the middle. Very dry finish with more wood, cider, & vinous flavors. One hell of a treat.

Barrel aged Saison blended with unpasteurized cider from Blue Bee. Thanks Sam!
375ml corked and caged bottle into a Grrrz teku. Shared with schen9303.
Nice looking clear goldenrod color but not much else. This beer tastes exactly like what I'd expect from the description. Lightly tart and spritzy. Yeasty with accents of coriander and peppercorn. The cider sweetness is apparent also, with nice apple notes that both enhance and complement the barrel aged tartness.
Feel is aggressive and very prickly. Really drinkable and again, the cider component is what stands out here.
A nice beer overall that displays a well thought-out complement of flavors.
