This is a new beer from a brand new brewery in Richmond. It is an unfiltered blonde ale brewed with a Belgian abbey yeast strain, hitting 6.2% and 30 ibus.
Poured a slightly hazy golden with a finger of white fizzy head. Left almost zero lacing but it is well carbonated, continuing to bubble for the duration of the glass.
Smell and taste are both Belgian funky, in a good way. Esters give you banana and maybe some apple, while hops add some mild spice.
Mouthfeel is light and crisp, quite bubbly.
Overall, this is a very refreshing drink, would make a nice lawnmower beer, in moderation.
Serving type: growler
